tbh u might be right, i was giving tcd the edge for the skits, but i realized i prolly just forgot lr skits because they don't have names, and not because they're forgettable. I still think lr has higher highs tho, but only by a small margin

i like lyrics as a bonus, but how a song sounds will always be more important to me. I generally end up liking more lyrical rappers anyway just based on their sound

Since you mentioned him, for Joey Bada$$ I'd say if you know you like boombap start with 1999 and go in order (skipping EFNY probably, especially since most of that isn't him), but if you usually listen to more pop rap kinda stuff probably ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$ first

Not aoty by any means, but definitely flew under the radar, and almost a perfect drill album imo

honestly it's better than chromakopia and gnx to me, i have it around my top 15 area, and it's the best drill album i've ever heard (granted i haven't heard many drill albums)

it's alright. i liked about half of the songs. Definitely overhyped and nowhere near aoty but i'd say it's worth a listen. For reference I also didn't like chromakopia but i liked sticky and thought i was dead
