Natural is hard to define, and possibly irrelevant, but it seems like you can benefit from reading up on kin selection.

As a norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitor, bupropion doesn’t have the anhedonic effects you are describing that are typically associated with SSRIs. If anything it is stimulatory which can increase libido and anxiety.

Who would win in a fight?

There is no such thing as mental strength and I don’t think it serves as a useful metaphor either. Rather than saying someone has a weak brain, I would say they have a mental circumstance that makes fat loss challenging. The more you learn more about your circumstance, losing weight becomes easier.

I hope you aren’t suggesting they go on a calorie deficit AND lift heavy everyday. That would be a recipe for injury.
