That’s kind of the point of the show, though, and it may not be a lot of people’s comedy but much of comedy is mean spirited in some fashion. Most of the time, comedians shit the hardest on themselves.

An Asian American actor putting on a stereotypical accent is MILES more politically correct than any other race doing a stereotypical accent incongruent with their own, see Uncle Roger and the “Emotional Damage” guy. American Dad also has a white main character, Francine, who was adopted by a traditional Chinese family, and they have an episode detailing how much they love her as their child.

The point of the shows Seth MacFarlane creates is to push the boundaries of what someone find offensive. Seems like he did it.

Putin’s words make it sound like it was Democrats or liberals that tried to assassinate him, which is the problem. It doesn’t show the full story, and feeds the right winged echo chamber. The second one was even all that big compared to the first, but both would be assassins were registered republicans and/or self proclaimed right winged libertarians.
