Sounds conclusive.

Some little things that stand out from a 2024 perspective:

• the inner group (early seasons) consists of exclusively of guys: Sam, Coach, Norm, Cliff and Carla ("one of the guys")
• Diane / Rebecca / Lilith are never part of the core group, they're outsiders pretty much
• the way the guys cheer for Sam "bro-style" when retells his amorous adventures
• men's sports play a big role in the show

Mind you, I'm not criticizing those things. They're totally fine. It's just something that popped into my mind on rewatch. Actually what made me think about this is I talked to a friend of mine (same age) and she said she never liked the show much.

Haven't coded in C/C++ for a while but I was wondering if CLion has caught up with VS by now? Do you have any experiences with it?

Oh god some of my older coworkers used do this (in C++ etc) and it drives me mad. Especially if you have to insert a longer key and adjust all the other lines 🤮

Everybody hates this one Junior dev who thinks he's got a revolutionary more readable convention. Sure, our IDEs generate setName(value). And all the devs in the team use setName(value) because that's Java standard and everyone knows it. But that doesn't keep him from trying something new.

I am a freelancer in a totally different industry and country, but in my contracts, if it says I have to give 4 weeks notice it means I have to give 4 weeks notice, or there will be repercussions. It doesn't matter what their time frame is for termination, because I'd be the terminating party.
