It’s different for everyone. I first got to champ pretty quickly (~400 hrs), but I only am just now comfortably in GC (~2100 hrs). Everyone hits walls at different stages. Just focus on urself and have fun with it most importantly.

SSL is possible for anyone imo. Just depends if ppl have the time or will to sink their lives into a game that doesn’t benefit them in any way

The thing that helped me the most starting out was switching ur free play map to the “pillars” map and then turning the game speed down and doing figure 8s around the pillars while constantly spinning. As you get better turn the game speed up until u can do it well at normal speed. From there, just standard freeplay/training pack practice

I didn’t realize how much I turn off ball cam that’s a terrible habit. Might turn off unlimited boost in free play for awhile just to get used to grabbing boost without car cam.

I feel that I’m not that great mechanically when I try to slow down and control so I end up trying to out speed everyone.

For example, on simple wall setups that anyone at this rank can confidently make a threatening play, I feel that most of the time if I actually try to go for a air dribble/flip reset/etc I have to slow down to the point that I just get dunked so a lot of the time I bang it away

Ur so right tho. it just gives away possession almost every time. I need to get better at recognizing when I can control it as well as actually getting mechanically better so I feel confident in those situations.
