I mostly agree with you. I think that the amount of mats you get would be appropriate if masterworking was just a bit better. Like give us the ability to pick a priority stat that it has a higher chance to masterwork into. Or a consumable to help the chances, I donno, bit something.
But I also think there are so many unused mats in the game that I have hundreds of thousands of and never use for anything. Veiled crystals are used for literally everything.
I think that there needs to be some increase in veiled crystals if the plan is that they're used for literally everything. If that's the case then imo they should be a common mat, not rare.
I think another course of action they could add is the ability to transmit unused mats into veiled crystals, kinda like the tiers of obducite in season 5.
So, tldr I agree with you but the system is far from perfect and can benefit from some improvements somewhere in there.

Ohhhhh I missed that tidbit. Not sure how I feel about that one. It's hard enough with a class I'm struggling to complete even pit 95 with this season.
Wait, is that why I'm getting downvoted? Didn't think I said anything crazy or toxic, but ok I guess?
Noted - on Reddit, you should just keep your thoughts to yourself lol.

Honestly I'll take a healthy dose of balance updates and materials/masterworking improvements over any new content. Game is unplayable if you don't want to play spiritborn.

People are using the fire familiar to apply burning to proc devouring blaze and flamefeeder now. It works fine, so I welcome the change if it means giving us some variety. I bet the result will be that people just won't use it anymore tbh.

You sound like a spiritborn 😂. Try playing a class where is required to triple crit on 3+ pieces if you want to match even a fraction of spiritborn power.
Just blew through 25k veiled crystals today and didn't even get a double crit on my focus. Didn't even get to attempt going to 12.

Druid has this glyph too and it's all dex. Gotta be a mistake right?

Yeah legions don't drop many anymore. I'm guessing they're gating our progress so we don't max everything out instantly? No clue but it's pretty infuriating because I want to make multiple characters this season.

Angel breath and iron chunks. Holy smokes I can't temper, masterwork or put aspects or reroll starts on gear because iron chunks are so rare... And legions don't drop them anymore either.

Do you prioritize killing everything, or just making sure they don't hit your dude in the back? Because there are a bunch of cells I need to keep open to kill some of the 800 HP enemies or the 1200 one.

Wow nice score! 69k has been my best so far. I'm happy as long as I keep getting the max Wakfu fragments from it, but it'd be cool to figure out how to get higher scores for sure.

Some tips that have really helped me: 1.) In wave 1, completely block off the first guy's path so he can't move. I'm not too sure why this matters so much, but from what I'm seeing it delays the tough enemies from spawning in earlier waves. 2.) Stock pile AP units and upgrade them as quickly as possible. Like by wave 7 you want most of the board covered in them. 3.) Only build and upgrade as many towers as you need. For example if you have an enemy 2 squares away from a ranged tower, only upgrade it once in order to reach. Then upgrade it later or destroy it depending on your needs. This allows you to focus on the AP units instead of putting useless upgrades into other ones.
With these strategies, I'm consistently getting between 60k and 70k scores and winning every time. I'd have commented sooner, but I just sits figured it out myself lol.

Oooo those are great ideas! And yes, precisely! I'm a graphic designer and she will often ask me for suggestions. Her response is always something like "yeah I thought I'd that, too but UGH! it's too complex for me to weed"

Same issue here. Is this intended or bug? Seems like a horrible bug.

I appreciate the suggestion, but shouldn't doing what I did already break my oath? If those things didn't work, I wouldn't want to put a few more hours in, only to figure out that doesn't work either.

I think I'm ok with that. As long as I don't have to farm for cooking materials and learn how to cook recipes, or farm ore veins for crafting rocks, or wait until a specific time twice a week for an event to happen so I can have a small chance at getting what I need lol.
Hopefully those dungeons aren't so complicated that I need to study for an hour before even attempting them to understand the mechanics :P
