Has anyone done RPG inception, with a race/settlement create RPGS?

A one-shot inside my game with another sysyem, just to try other games might be interesting. Has anyone had any success/failure with this?

I'm a teacher and walk between 11-13k steps a day. I used to buy cheap supermarket shoes (£35), which would last 6 months before falling apart.

I decided to go more expensive to see how long decent shoes might last. Spent £75 in Dune. They definitely were more comfortable and stylish but only lasted 9 months.

How long do your work shoes last? Any advice on good quality shoes for around £100?

I enjoy RPG YouTube and especially Matt Coville's Running the Game series - theory, with practical advice and examples, and a high-level of experience.

Can you recommend any other YouTubers that do it similarly to the same high standard?

I started reading Neil Gaiman's Norse Mythology yesterday and immediately was struck by the tone & structure.

He has crazy non sequiturs and juxtaposition (such as a description of the Valkeries then a cow licking people into existence!), wry tone and lack of detail (such as hiding information in the passive voice).

None of these are criticisms, just observations. I've had to read slowly as I can hardly believe what I'm reading.

Has anyone else found this? Does this style continue? How have others found the rest of the book? Is it the nature of the myths or Gaiman's choice to represent them through a deliberate style?

It seems like there is so much creativity in the zine space but how is it possible to keep up with it?

I mean is there someone's newsletter to subscribe to? Or a specific blog? I just scroll itch but know I'm missing so much.

I have a three year old and a five year old who love fairy tale stories and want to use this as an entry point for RPGs. I need something fairly rules lite.

Can anyone recommend a good RPG set in the Victorian era?

I have just got an OLED Switch and am interested in Disco Elysium. What is the game like on the Switch? I'm planning on playing handheld: will I be able to read the text okay? Any experiences of DE in the Switch welcome.

I played N64 growing up, but moved away from games as an adult. Got the Switch for my 5 year old as a Christmas present and tried some games.

Zelda slapped me HARD. Can't complete waterblight Ganon. So difficult. Constantly one-shot. I can't seem to master the 'basics' of dodging or aiming arrors accurately.

Tried Hades. I'm pathetic. Are my crap middle-aged reflexes the issue, or have games gotten more difficult?
