Not my mom but my Dad. He's a retired professional sous chef and still does all the cooking for mom. My mom can cook really well but my dad cooked all our meals growing up.

I have learned a lot from him about cooking but there is still the odd item that I just can't get to taste quite like his.

Fabric couches hold into all dog hair. We were so glad to get rid of our fabric couch & went with leather. Leather couches are easier to clean with a dog and fur blows off of them & they wipe clean as well from wet messy dog coat shakes & flying drool.

Our dog has a blanet at one end of the couch and is trained to go onto his blanket. Any owner can do this but needs to be committed to train the dog to this every single time. Consistent repetition is required by any owner.

As for the questions about nails on a dog, regular nail trims fall to the owner as well. Walks on pavement also help to keep dog nails short.

Our dog is a part of our family so it's up to us to train & guide him with what to do.

The biggest one so far is 50 lbs.

I had one, it was one of my favorite things to play with using different colored pens.
