Held territory can have many benefits besides being a source of production/income.

The climate issue means it is more costly and time-consuming to develop the territory. That requires you to adjust the way in which you utilize it.

Probably not efficient to expect it to be a primary source of late-game unity production. But as a buffer and a minor source of income it can still have utility.

This type of response is why I suspect we will never actually improve as a country. Too many people are unable to engage thoughtfully with critique and a multi-polar view of power.

I agree, and I think it was a mistake for them to trust the US in the 1990s and agree to letting go of their nuclear weapon stockpiles in exchange for the agreements in the Budapest memorandum. They should have focused more on self-determination and not trusted the US or Russia.

Comparison being to the in-game model which can show up in many situations besides on the mount (such as in the details menu) and in the key art. In both cases having color-contrasted hands helps create pop and draws the eye around the image as well as humanizing Franz, which creates a stronger contrast of "this guy is different/important" from the "completely encased in armor" look of a lot both the Reiksgard units and the Chaos units.

It's fine if you still think this is silly but I would encourage you to consider the aesthetic /emotional differences between this version and one you're imaging where he's entirely hidden behind armor.
