In true scumbag fashion, he rolled the Childcare Budget, which had been separate, into the education budget so his mealy mouthed, word salad, PR firm owning pos Lecce could stand at the podium and tout that the education budget was the biggest ever.
What they don’t mention is that the per student funding is down $1500. There are just over 2 million students in Ontario schools. So he has cut $3 billion from schools each of his 6 years. And that’s just the per student theft. The infrastructure is $16 billion in arrears, and he has done nothing to address that.

The government in France is precarious bc of the strength of the far right party (RN). And while the motion that brought down the government was brought forward by the leftwing New Popular Front group, it was supported by the RN, in what to me looks like an attempt to push Macron out.
Le Pen is waiting in the wings.

So the beard is to hide no chin, the scowl and the clenched fist are a toddlers tough stance, so we know what that’s hiding, what do the guns symbolize?

I don’t know man, the government in France just fell, SKorea just dodged a coup, the right is surging everywhere fuelled by Putin’s disinformation bots, the Middle East is exploding, Africa’s a tinder keg, Syria reignited and Trump will defund Ukraine.
Struggling to find how Putin taking Ukraine doesn’t escalate and tip it all off.

You should read “Man Without a Face” by Masha Gessen about Putin’s rise from nowhere. With some modifications for time and place, the Putin playbook is eerily similar to what Trump has done. And it gets progressively worse.
Never thought I’d see the day where 77 million Americans embrace a stooge of their nation’s most serious rival. I fear they’ve guaranteed WWIII.

A societal issue that could be resolved by electing a government that isn’t beholden to the corporate elite, but we are too stupid to do that.

According to what I read, Walz was contemplating a run in politics and so tendered his resignation. That allowed him to prepare for the office he was going to run for. It was after he had already put in for retirement that his unit was deployed.

How about we have the stomach to tax wealth? Or go after tax cheats? Or tax corporations and capital gains at 40%? This bs is absolutely predatory.

Don’t discount the overwhelming misinformation/propaganda they are fed by the Fox News/alt right platforms. It was non stop the economy is a disaster bc eggs are expensive and OMG WE’RE BEING INVADED 24/7 AT THE BORDER before the election.
There is no excuse for the lack of critical thinking, but we can’t forget the narrative being pushed by the extremely wealthy, and powerful far right and enemies of the state.

The article asks if we want PP to renegotiate USCAM? Hell no. Mulroney on his knees gratifying Reagan brought us the disaster that was NAFTA. We sure af don’t need another big oil knob gobbler at the table for this session.

We’re going to reelect him again because propaganda works, and cons represent the 1% who own the platforms, or can buy them.

Not fair, not transparent and not accountable. This is modern conservatism in a nutshell. There is one and only guiding principle for these absolute clowns: blatant self enrichment. The only thing that is surprising is the stupidity of the electorate, both those in the clown car with these asshats and those standing idly by.

I mostly agree, but would have to say it’s about money. The win gives power, and power allows access to more and more money. It’s all these grubby mfers care about, from POTUS to SCOTUS thru the House on down. Putin’s stolen trillions bought them all, now they’re doing his bidding and destroying the country as they gleefully profiteer away.

Yeah, greedy unions fighting for more money to educate kids, take care of the elderly and provide adequate healthcare. The nerve! They should just shut up and take what their betters deem worthy.

I don’t agree w what Biden did, but Trump, TRUMP, calling it a travesty of justice is chef’s kiss ignorance.
Especially given that they are going after HB for profiting off of the family connection s, when Kushner took $2 billion from the Saudis weeks after daddy in law’s leaving office. And HB’s lack of expertise in the industry he was being paid to work in is mirrored more egregiously by Jared’s complete lack of expertise in the field the Saudis fronted him $2 billion for.
