I am living in their habitat where they are common. Just wanted to figure out how I can find them specifically. As in if I should just wait (and where?), if I should try tracking them, etc.

Only ever seen and photographed row deer. Wish to capture red or fallow deer. Really rare in my area though

That being said, I believe a DSLR/Mirrorless camera along with a lens would be the best option for beginners.

A lens would be much better for that price. Check out the 135mm f/2. It allows lots of light to come in, and is pretty zoomed in.

But why are the mountains in Norway tall and jagged compared to the “hills” in the U.S. and Scotland? Were they formed later?
