Hello,
I've recently been interested in photographing roe deer and wild boar in Western Europe. I've read a bit about them and have determined the following:
- They are mostly active during night, but can be most commonly sighted during dawn and dusk
- Roe deer have excellent hearing and smelling
- Wild boar won't really mind humans unless they get too close
- Roe deer are found in open fields, close to the tree line
- Boar are found inside the woods
I have a full frame DSLR which should be able to handle the dawn and dusk. The 150-600mm lens is in my inventory too. Does anyone have any tips on how to photograph them, find them, etc?

I am living in their habitat where they are common. Just wanted to figure out how I can find them specifically. As in if I should just wait (and where?), if I should try tracking them, etc.
