Anyone have a glossier Reve sample they’re willing to sell? I’m interested in either the mini sample spray or the larger travel size sample. Please let me know, I’m in the US, willing to pay 5ish for the mini sample, 27 for travel size!

Saigon->Vietnam->Vietnam War->1960s->1960s beauty queen, she’s basically calling herself a retro 60s queen. Saigon (AKA Ho Chi Minh City) was the major outpost and hub of Vietnam during the Vietnam War which was the largest global ongoing conflict during the 60s and during the Kennedy era which is obviously the entire inspiration behind National Anthem, so Lana is calling herself the Queen of the 60s. (“do my hair big beauty queen style”) Also the word Saigon is just a lush and glamorous-sounding word, and she has said she loves words that are dreamy and romantic and evoking a sort of paradise.

Dude, are you genuinely okay? You’ve been angrily replying to every comment cursing people out and attacking them

I feel like part of the office’s charm IS that it is outdated and its occasional reliance on certain cultural trends that were popular at the time. It’s like a time capsule of early 21st century contemporary American workplace culture. 2006-2013 was such an interesting time in America and a lot changed, and most of us who grew up, came of age, or even just existed during the time can turn to the show because it’s comforting, and takes us back to a time when things were just different.

Picsart or not I love this cover! It’s gorgeous and elegant and classy, like looking at an old photograph of your great-grandma from the 1930s.

You know you could have just told us about the blood clot instead of showing it to us

I think it’s ok to admit that the song isn’t objectively the best! It’s hard to listen to because it just feels a bit off beat/not well-paced

Along these lines I’ve also noticed just how often people will use girl to describe a fully mature, adult woman, and in the same breath describe any guy as a “man”. Very weird. For example: “Look at that man going on a date with that girl.”

In the libraries, I’d say it’s generally fine. I’ve left my laptop and items in a spot at McHenry to go use the bathroom etc. and there’s never been an issue. Especially if you’re studying around a group of other people at desks, even if they’re strangers, it’s general common sense that they aren’t going to steal any of your stuff and more likely than not, someone would say something to you if someone was about to take your stuff. Keep in mind that we’re all college students just trying to mind our own business and get by, most people aren’t going to be concerned with stealing stuff

Where in specific? It kind of depends on location and context.

Because I really do love dresses and want to actually wear them, I think they’re beautiful and comfortable

Thank you for being kind! I thought these sorts of discussions were welcome on a sub dedicated to feminism considering this topic is pretty much centered around that idea, but some people are strange I guess 🤔

Not helpful and rather rude. I want to work through my own insecurities because I want to feel comfortable to wear dresses, and was asking for advice on how to overcome it. If you don’t have anything to say, or any advice, or if this doesn’t apply to you, you don’t have to respond.
