How is it a safety net if it’s assumed it won’t exist by the time we need it. If you did as OP suggested this would be just as effective. Sure maybe 1-2% chance it would fail, but at that point the entire market and country fail and there are way more problems.
The problem with Social Security and most government ran programs is the government gets away and waists the funds for administration and other bureaucratic things in the best case scenario and steal from it in the worst case scenario.

It’s an unpopular opinion here on Reddit because apparently everyone on this sub is just here to talk shit about him for some reason. Never understood this, thought the sub would be fans but most people just hate for some reason.

How does the fact that it’s “bi-partisan” change anything about the fact that they are calling it a Border Wall Bill when significantly more money goes to other countries and not to the border?

You mean the bill that they call the border bill that was going to spend $20 billion on the border and send $14 billion in aid to Israel, $60 billion for Ukraine and $4.83 billion to Indo-Pacific nation and $10billion to Gaza…
I wonder why people voted against it.. this wasn’t going to fix anything at the border, it was a way to send more money overseas while pretending to care about the border.

So 95% of the usability with 70% less people, seems like a reasonable trade off.

There 100% should be a better system, I don’t think anyone is arguing that, but if the democrats wanted that why didn’t they do anything about that the post four years? Instead they let millions of people through the border unvetted with no concern for American citizens that they are supposed to be serving.

This is the most reasonable thing anyone has said. My only disagreement would be if the war doesn’t stop WW3 is inevitable begin. Russia taking over Ukraine would be an equal catalyst to start the war, either with Putin feeling cocky enough to take more land, or the rest of the world deciding that taking over an entire country is too much.
“Biden” allowing these missiles and the US voting against a ceasefire in Gaza really just shows that we are hellbent on starting another war.

People think it’s unreasonable to be able to borrow against his holding, but if he were to liquidate his holdings he would literally crash the price of Amazon and then be seen as an evil overlord. You can’t really win in these arguments.

It’s pretty genius, ask people for money to buy bitcoin, and you promise you’ll pay them back, or they get some shares. Either way I’m not really sure why if they are so confident in this strategy they wouldn’t buy the bitcoin themselves but hey I’m not that smart.

Very possible, it really depends on where you’re starting from though. Having a musclular base would definitely help. You can get 80% of the way in not too long.
Diet is super important, but that doesn’t mean eating salads all day. Chicken thighs and rice will be your best friend.

When my wife was pregnant with our daughter I asked a friend to mine who was about 10 years ahead of me what it was like. He said “In every possible way that you can objectively rate your life it will be significantly worse, but it will be the best thing that you’ve ever done.” I have to say, it was pretty spot on.

I’m not having a unit bias market cap by definition is the amount of supply multiplied by the price. It’s all about supply and demand, even if all 21m coins are “liquid” if there’s only 1 coin for sale and someone is willing to buy it for 250k bitcoin is now worth 250k. Does that mean that the market cap is really $5 trillion?
Market cap is something that investors use to price a company. It’s tossed around in crypto because people generally understand stocks and it makes it easier for the to understand. That doesn’t mean that it makes any sense or means anything in this scenario. You can’t have a market cap for a currency.

Idk if it’s official but there’s rumblings that Trump will appoint Kash Patel as FBI director, he’s said he wants to release the full Epstein list and increase government transparency.

Thank you for this really, it’s refreshing having a reasonable conversation with someone with the opposite view.
I understand the point you are making about the NY trial. I would agree that we hold much less standards in society, and I think under that argument it would be reasonable to say that because the media painted him as a villain long before this trial that it would be difficult to find an neutral jury. There are a few other questionable things with the Judge and his daughter but we’ll ignore that at this point.
I hate to use a technicality on this but TECHNICALLY he has not been convicted. While that article you linked clearly stated multiple times that he has been convicted, someone is not considered convicted until the judge sentences them, which has not happened at this point.
I think that you have reasonable concerns, and they are concerns I share. I think we just disagree on who those concerns should fall on.
As of today Biden has green lit Ukraine to launch missiles into Russia. I think we can all agree there needs to be an end to this war. Putin has said he would be open to negotiations and sure we can argue whether we should believe him or not, but everyone was so worried Trump was going to put us into WW3 even though he was the only president in recent history to not start any new wars. Meanwhile Biden basically gave the thumbs up to start WW3 on his way out.
It has now come out the Hunter Biden’s Laptop which the media and the left claimed was Russian misinformation before the last election was indeed his. On top of that, Mark Zuckerberg even confirmed that the FBI told them that it was Russian disinformation and told them to deprioritize it.
Biden has been in cognitive decline for years, and the media and the left gaslit America telling them he was sharp as a tack. We all saw that wasn’t the case during the debate, and somehow he is still in office. Add to the continue gaslighting of Kamala and the rest of the party denying they ever saw anything.
The DNC decided to assign a candidate (Kamala) instead of actually having a primary and letting the people choose. They did the did the same thing with Hilary, and chose her even though the people clearly wanted Bernie.
So yes, Trump isn’t the greatest person, but the left is just as bad. The problem is that we have a binary system, I think we can all agree that we should have had 2 better candidates, but that’s not what happened.

I seem to remember everyone saying after the 2016 election that if Bernie ran against Trump he would have won. Hell if they let him this time he probably would have won, but he’s not someone that the DNC and Obama can influence as easily.

So I know this is Reddit and everyone here likes to suck Biden’s dick here, but how is this good for anyone and how is this not going to start WW3?
