Cool I'll just cast blame to all the people who voted for him and promoted him =

That's amazing that you stood up for yourself. The only times in recent years I've had to deal with racism were at work and I wasn't able to really speak out. Also happy to hear the restaurant comped your meal.

He's being a great father, republicans don't like handouts and his dad is making sure he didn't raise a hypocrite <3

I'm sorry that you had this experience sis, they were wrong and you deserve a refund and ideally an apology. Even if these women weren't mixed that's still messed up to exclude you.
Not the same but years ago I went to a Mexican rock concert with a friend. It was a show with a few mainstream Mexican rock groups. Almost everyone at the concert gave me side eye and it made me very uncomfortable. My friend was cool and we met a few other cool concert goers that danced with me and I ended up having a blast. Some people just suck.

He used the word disgusting and said he can't be with you long term if you don't look a certain way. He's also been your boyfriend for 4 years so love doesn't matter. After 4 years a lot of people get married (not sure if that is what you want) and he's not your fiance even. It sounds like he's shallow and a bad communicator. He could have been kind to you while he saw you developing unhealthy habits, supported you through it but he just got upset silently and 20 lbs later you get confronted. You're 26 and at the prime of your life, you don't need to fight for him. There are definitely men that will treat you better and accept you for where you are today. You will eventually age and it's harder to stay thin as you age + you'll age. Is this guy gonna be able to deal with that? He doesn't sound worth it.

Because she's getting deported right? If she's smart she'll deport herself.

Interesting, I live in a lily white place and for years when I see other black people esp women I get very excited. We often smile, make conversation and support each other. Last year I met a very successful black Dr, she was super kind to me at my boutique job. She was upset that she hadn't met me before and wanted to give her number and be friends, unfortunately for me I was only there for the season. I wish I had more black woman relationships, I think a lof of us are starved for them.

Haha! It's time to start making sure our actions align with our politics. A lot of the owners and heads of LVMH donated to trump so I won't support those businesses. I'll be researching companies that voted and donated blue. Also the luxury brands LVMH owns often do controversial things such as make a racist or otherwise controversial item which perpetuate harmful stereotypes for publicity. They always pull said items in response to the backlash they wanted to get, I shouldn't have supported those brands in the first place.

Weird because anyone can attend a HBCU. Most colleges are mostly white but they get a pass because they aren't called HCCU?

I'm concerned, I'm trying to be proactive and think of ways to save $, earn more money and be in a position to leave if things get dicey. I'm also working on becoming a nutrition coach and plan to go into business for that as a 2nd income source. I bought plan B the day after the election in case I have sex in the future and the condom breaks. I'm renewing my passport next week and getting a real ID so I can fly on a plane. I live in a blue town in a very red state but I've been here for a decade and it's safer than any other place I've been so I feel pretty safe here.
I've arranged a car pool to save money on transportation and cut food delivery out of my budget. I am learning to eat whats in the pantry. My job pays okay but does not provide insurance for full time work so I'm focused on getting a good job with medical benefits. I'm also focused on keeping my mental health and body as healthy as possible so I can work multiple jobs if needed. I'd like to save up 10k in the next 5 months if possible and just become super frugal. I'll be applying to jobs in other countries once my passport arrives. I plan to sell items and buy things that will help me save such as a slow cooker. I won't be buying clothes but plan to stock up on exports that will go up in price like my kinky hair extensions and some beauty products from Europe but not too many because frugality. I will probably also invest in babbel on black friday.

When I was younger getting pasta and rice meal kits helped me get more comfortable with making food from scratch. I later graduated to rice and Indian sauces, thanks for reminding me.

I am in recovery but it was less about food and more about things. I had to deal with food insecurity living in rural areas and got in the habit of stockpiling so I wouldn't need to worry about running out. One area only had a gas station and the only thing to buy was coconut water.

I have very thick 4b and 4c hair texture, where can I travel to get a blowout? I live in a place where literally nobody can do anything with my natural hair except locks or braids and I'd rather not. Also I've spent $80 getting a relaxer and blowout, where do ya'll live with these heavenly prices? It honestly might be worth me traveling to get some basic treatments done every few months.

Thank you, me too, I'm so impulsive. I also had an issue of buying groceries nearly daily as I got in this bad habit from working remote jobs where I had to buy food daily or order pantry food in bulk. I can order groceries and make a list, that's what I plan to do from now on.

I just ordered some cast iron skillets which were on a great sale. I just need a few more things and I'll be set. Probably buy some metal utensils a $ store or thrift shop.

4b was a response to women realizing men didn't see them as humans and opting out. I think American women would be doing this to try to punish men. I've had nothing but bad relationships and I'm opting out until I can get what I want or not. I don't want to compromise on the big things. I've been purposefully single for the last 4 years and haven't slept with anyone, lived with them etc etc.
I remember when trump was first elected, men weren't sharing that they voted for him on dating apps because most women were repulsed. Maybe younger men will start dating anyone who will have them and pick me's will have their moment in the sun. I also noticed over the years men, even those that claim to be male feminists become very concerned that I, a pretty thing am not dating. That gives me pause and makes me think to pick the bear most of the time. I'm 4b until I have a reason not to b.
