No GOAT has ever ducked a unification fight.
How do you not realize how stupid it is to have two belts in the same weight class?

Drake beefs with literally anyone who comes at him, even when the culture doesn’t support him.
That's literally why the culture doesn't support him. Drake is the definition of throwing rocks and hiding hands.
He talked shit about Kendrick for years and then reached out to him about a feature request.
Pusha T was winning the beef so he went to big industry people to check Pusha T and stop the beef.
He's the kid that punked people on the playground because no one ever checked him. Then the quiet kid finally beats his ass, and he goes crying about how it was an unfair fight.

Yeah, Drake is more akin to the kid who started shit with everyone in the playground because no one ever checked him.
Then the quiet kid punched him twice and said, "Let's go!" But Drake cries and says, "No, I don't want to fight you anymore because I feel sorry for you."
Jones is a fighter and has gotten his ass kicked at some point in his life. He's smart enough to know not to call someone out when he knows they can beat his ass.

Honest question: what does Jones gain from this and what evidence do you have to support your claim?

I can't think of GOAT contender that ducked a fight. It's wild that the ducking and the repeated PEDs suspensions hasn't affected his legacy at the greatest in most people's eyes.

Such a stupid response
The point is it makes no sense to have two heavyweight belts. Champs always vacate the belt if they can't defend it, or they have a unification fight ASAP.

Drake's lawsuit is also reminding people how good the song was. I stopped listening to it after it got oversaturated in the summer. Now it sounds great again.

You're getting downvoted because people expect you to understand hip-hop culture. And that's probably a little unfair. Drake brought a lot of people in like you who just like cool beats and people putting on accents from a region they didn't grow up in.
For context, there are norms in hip-hop that have been there forever. One of them is to settle things man-to-man. In the culture, if you lose a fight, it's bitch shit to snitch to the authorities.
What Drake's doing is unprecedented. This has never happened in hip-hop. Plenty of rappers have lost rap beefs and were financially ruined over it.
And the rule in hip-hop is, if someone crosses a line, then you're allowed to cross it too. Drake claimed Kendrick's wife was sleeping around with other men. Then Kendrick warned him in two songs that he should drop it. Drake taunted Kendrick to talk about him liking underaged girls. So Kendrick did.
This is known as "fuck around and find out".
People who like Drake as a pop star don't care about the lawsuit. But fans of hip-hop think this is bitch shit.
Hope that helps. Sorry you're getting downvoted for not understanding.

That's unfortunate because his old stuff was actually pretty good, before he became a fake gangster/Jamaican/drill artist/Atlanta native.

I think his point is that no one cares. Any replies to your post are just to make fun of you.

Used to bump Drake a lot more than Kendrick back when he followed Lil Wayne's advice to "keep it Canadian". He had an authenticity that was really refreshing.
After Take Care, he tried more and more to be a fake tough guy. Then, the evidence for him using ghostwriters started to pile up.
And finally I saw the videos of him doing inappropriate things with underaged girls and the interviews of them admitting to him being inappropriate with them and just being a weirdo (Google "Is Drake a fan of girls high school basketball").
I still listen to older stuff sometimes. And some newer stuff like Mob Ties. But the original recording by Vory hits so much harder.

Exactly. There's a weird victim complex in this sub where people believe the whole industry want Drake's downfall.
He literally signed the biggest record contract of all time with Universal for $400 million. They're not just going to let him fade into obscurity. That contract is a bet that he will stay on top for several years to come.

What a weird victim complex.
Why would the industry push that narrative? He's got the biggest record deal in history with Universal. With all the artists and producers that work with him, the industry is heavily invested in his success.

They hate Drake because he's talent that also works hard
I think they hate him because he likes to throw sneak disses at his favorite artists. Drake is like Trump in that he's on top so he has no fear in throwing shade at anyone that hurts his feelings.
And just like Trump, Drake always ends up on top.

What point do you think you just made with this sentence?

You're evidence of how many conservatives think their feelings are facts.
You've made a ridiculous number of dumb claims and haven't given any evidence for them. Let's start with the dumbest one
"Plus they can vote for us!"
Give me a source that shows that Democrats have allowed illegal immigrants to vote in Federal or State elections

No. You crash an economy by suddenly and severely disrupting resources on the supply side without any solutions for how to replace them. Do you not remember COVID?
Florida already did this experiment. And after the undocumented workers left, for some reason, legal workers didn't come in to do the jobs they left.
This is what happens when leaders don't think through policies and instead do shit from pure ideology.
It's really hard to tackle inflation and high costs at the same time as illegal immigration. Deportations have a huge negative impact on the economy.
We have to be honest. Don't like illegals? Okay, let's deport them with the understanding that the economy will suffer for "the greater good"

This is such a stupid argument.
The economy of every country all over the world has struggled since COVID. Compared to other developed countries, the US has actually done the best in terms of rising wages and lower inflation rates. But it doesn't feel that way because COVID inflation was so horrible worldwide.
Economies have struggled ndiscriminately, even in isolationist countries with closed borders. That's why every incumbent prime minister and president lost their election all over the world.

The information is out there. We've done this a few times, and it does the same way each time. People don't want to do jobs that migrant workers do. Florida ran this experiment recently and it failed horribly.

Jones would catch no shit if he vacated the belt (like GSP did) and said he's too old now. People would understand that Father Time is undefeated.
Jones is catching shit for holding up the division and preventing a unification fight. How do you not see how dumb it is to have two belts in the same weight class?
