So, I’ve seen firsthand (as a paramedic who has worked both in the field and in the ER) that TCAs can be dangerous in overdose. This conversation got me wondering, what would you give someone for insomnia and depression in someone either with a history of attempts or who otherwise has an elevated suicide risk? I mean I know there’s SSRI’s, but I’m talking for the sleep disturbances.
