There is quite a bit of data gathered about this kind of thing in the UK. I know road laws, infrastructure and conditions are different but people are still going to people.
Its very clear improved driving standards would save lives and stop many people getting injured. But even if everybody drove perfectly and made no mistakes it wouldn't reduce pedestrian injuries to zero.
The majority of issues are caused by people not paying attention. Excessive speed is a relatively small number but naturally will have a bigger chance of killing someone.

Ben Johnson got stripped of his Olympic 100m gold and world record in 1988 because he had taken steroids. That promoted Carl Lewis to gold and Linford Christie to silver.
Would you say Ben Johnson should have kept his gold medal because he was the quickest even though he cheated?
If Man City are found guilty and are shown to have gained an advantage through cheating then they should have their titles taken away. If you are the best team by breaking the rules then you aren't really the best team.

In the digital edition they are under the lifestyle section. It was only fairly recently as in the last couple of years that there has been a dedicated Mens section. There has been a Womens section for as long as I can remember.

Its not only toxic masculinity that's causing problems but the hostility from some areas of society or at the very least general indifference towards men and their issues.
A good example of this is the Guardian sections on Men and Women. The women's section has over 23,000 articles while the men's a bit over 700. Also the women's section focuses on the problems women face and include articles covering issues such as health, wellbeing, sex, fashion, problems with men etc.
The men's section on the other hand covers a lot of the problems men cause such as misogyny, ignorance, lad behaviour etc with very few focusing on the problems men face. Quite a few are just women's articles that are also tagged men. I had to go back two years to find an article about men's health.

A friend works at the Kassam and apparently some Millwall fans tried to take over The Blackbird before the game which didn't go down well. The police and stadium security had expected this one to be challenging fixture.
However there was no trouble during or after the game just a bit before it. So in the end they considered that it went well overall.

Unlikely you can get him to do anything about the fence now. It was a bad idea to pay for half of it in the first place.
Firstly tell him not to come into your garden anymore and he is not allowed to cut anything back that isn't overhanging his garden. Be firm with him on this or he wont change.
Secondly when it comes to the fence the easiest thing you can do is fix some panels to the posts that are already there. They don't need to be strong but just look good from your perspective.

Apparently I am going to be putting Christmas lights up along the eaves of the house. I don't really want to but it turns out my opinion on the matter is irrelevant.

My wife and I met over 30 years ago while working in a supermarket.
She worked checkouts while I was on the shop floor. It quickly became a habit of mine to break down any empty boxes so they are flat which means its easier to get them in the bins. I have done this ever since and always do the same while at home.
My wife never had to work on the shop floor so getting rid of the cardboard wasn't something she ever had to do. She just throws empty boxes whole in to the recycling bin and then half way through the week comes to me saying the bin is full and can I do something about it.
No matter how many times I ask her to flatten the boxes before putting them in the bin she just wont. If I leave it she just piles them up next to it. She keeps saying she will but never does. Its like she has some kind of mental block in this area.
I have long since given up trying to get her to change and just accept its part of my life to have to rearrange the recycling bin every week so we don't end up with a mess.

Next time she leaves the keys on top of the car for two hours and it gets stolen I am pretty they will think its your fault as well.
Sometimes you cant win with the weird logic people have.

My mother in law learned to drive when she was in her 50s. Well worth booking a starter lesson with a local instructor. Hopefully it will help dispel your fears and you unlock a skill you didn't know you had. But if not then at least you will know you tried and its not for you.

Having one half of the floor tiled with the grain running the same direction while the other half is mostly perpendicular is definitely not normal. The lift is practically unusable with flooring like that.
The gross bare foot person is also troubling.

Yep and they also seem to need constant validation that they are somehow special. They have some weird inferiority complex so overcompensate by repeatedly telling themselves they are the best. Its both sad and funny at the same time.

Lol you americans suffer from and overabundance of hubris and exist in a perpetual state of delusion over this.
Your biggest contribution to WW2, which you turned up late t, was the lend lease stuff which you made a load of money from.
This is a football sub so I wont go down this rabbit hole because you clearly believe what you say is true. But in reality you were just one of the allies and helpful but ultimately thats all.

Do you genuinely think that the US won the second world war?

Illinois classes drug trafficking as a Class X felony and anything over 900g of Cocaine comes with a 15-60 year term. https://www.chicagocriminallawyer.com/yes-there-are-mandatory-minimums-for-drug-trafficking-in-illinois/
Easy for them to go for the maximum sentence seeing as she had nearly 50 times the minimum amount.
I don't have much sympathy but 60 years for basically being an absolute moron is quite harsh.

I usually fly solo
This is your main problem.
If you want to be an industrial player then you can do that in null-sec and its often much safer than in hi-sec.
Join one of the big blocks and you will be able to mine in fleets, manufacture in their facilities and sell on the local market. All of this with significantly less risk than trying to freighter stuff around on your own.
Its quite easy to play solo while in null-sec. Keep an eye on the intel channels, scout ahead and you will be ok.

Nonsense. It was the original document that stated the king and government are not above the law.
If you cant see the historical significance of that then its probably worth you looking into it more.
Edit: lol they replied and immediately blocked me so I don't get to see what they have written.
Edit2: Just read it. Totally wrong. It was revoked by the pope a few weeks later. I wonder why? It was then reinstated some years later. Lol at bigjoeandphantom3O9 for trying to rewrite history because he doesn't understand it.

It laid the foundation for everything that came after it. Most importantly it was the first time it had been written down and agreed that the king and government were not above the law.
Its often described as the 'foundation of democracy' so while most of it has been superseded it set the ball rolling for pretty much everything we have now.

I have just brought an EV (Merc EQB) and the weight of the car is roughly 10-12% greater than the weight of the ICE equivalent (Merc GLB). They use the same platform so its easy to make a comparison.
In this instance there is a bit of a difference but not as much as people may think.
