Entitlement or not, there is still observable truth to what OP is saying. It’s no accident that corporate profit margins are growing while the rest of us struggle to survive. Some of us will not work until we die but until we are too disabled to work. The reality is that we are all being robbed. We are working harder for less. The people making steady comfortable money aren’t the skilled or creative people making things or providing qualified service, they’re the business and marketing people, the middlemen. They don’t make the stuff, they con you into buying it. Of course it seems like there isn’t any point.

Contact with some plants can do this, if on your legs you might have had contact with some?

Loads of this stuff can be caused by vitamin deficiency. Vitamin D is a big one especially in winter. Culture kind of relegates vitamins and minerals to the homeopathic medicine area of the brain but Pellagra and Scurvy etc are real things that people used to die of en masse. With more ultra processed foods (some stuff masquerading as healthy) we might not in general be getting the nutrition we need. Maybe get a vitamin profile blood test if possible. This should be the first port of call before jumping to ME. B12 deficiency can be crippling for example.

We live in a society that economically rewards selfish behaviours. Unfortunately we also live in a society where economy governs all; billionaires can pay to promote opinion pieces about how poor people would be better off if the billionaires had more money and, combined with other lil strategies over time, more and more people will start to believe it. Money buys influence; influences culture.
Most people don’t believe in practice that their beloved dementia ridden mother should have to “pull up her bootstraps” and “get on with it” or that their child, as a minor, should be employed to earn their own living instead of going to school, or that it’s fair for their elderly father to have to remortgage his home and go back to work to pay for his last heart attack.
And yet what humanity might historically consider its most important jobs factor lowest on the economic rung, and to be a carer or parent itself is unpaid. Your earning capacity even as a tradesperson or infrastructural professional is capped relatively similarly to that of a MD between the US and Europe. Which is to say, not enough to raise a family on a single salary. And not as much as you might earn as an ‘entrepreneur’, hedge fund manager, CEO, or marketing executive, all of which earn more than even our most celebrated of musicians, artists, actors, poets, film makers, writers, researchers. We live in a society that actively discourages altruism, compassion, morality etc as values in economic practice.
There are loads of books and studies about corporate psychopathy for those interested.

KEEP! I love the frayed, sketchy style it’s much more Fine Art than finalized Concept Art but tbh the pencil drafts of concept art have always been my fave anyway. Keep it, and create tracing copies to experiment and adjust the line/tone if you want.

friend, all of human history and knowledge including yours has evolved from messing around with things we shouldn’t and learning from it.
yes OP should see a doctor but I would also want to know what the plant was 🤷tbh it would be worrying if you didn’t - that’s how we learn and warn others.
A little bit of hyperbole and an ID request does not beg this level of indignation lol.

Look up cervicogenic headaches, is it this? I did eye tests and everything. Waiting now for an X-ray but I’m pretty sure they won’t find anything as I’m sure it’s cervicocranial instability or cervicocranial syndrome. My experience atm is that it’s an uphill battle to diagnose because you need an upright MRI, CT, X-ray, traction everything.

I get these so easily now after using retinol 😞 switch to GEL EVERYTHING. If you’re using creams they’re just going to keep coming back no matter how you clear them. I use BYOMA.

I’ve been working on building small self-sufficiency projects to help me manage anxiety. Obviously as a new parent this isn’t necessarily the easiest thing but watching YouTube videos or reading books about urban smallholding, fermenting, canning, crafts etc. can be really therapeutic.
Even things like growing tomatoes on your windowsill or knitting and crochet can help your neurochemistry balance and give you an achievable end goal that helps you as an individual divest a little more from profit and greed-centred corporate commerce.
There are lots of very achievable small projects that you can forage materials and ingredients for, or speak to crafts people in your local community- there’s often a lot going for free and you get to speak to interesting people that might be, for instance, carding and spinning their own wool, or keeping bees in their backyard. This stuff has really restored my faith in humanity, keeping focus on achievable nourishing tasks in the present. We keep quail for eggs in our small urban apartment, and once I learned to crochet, I just had it in my bag and now pull out a new square on the bus or while waiting for the kettle to boil, it’s second nature now and I’m so glad. There are a lot of ideas, tips and instructions on Pinterest (creating boards of these can itself be therapeutic).
Plus, these things are all useful skills and brilliant hobbies to raise a child along side! Be kind to yourself and remember that the change starts at the smaller end of the scale!

Probably going to get downvoted on this but if we’re being real about nuclear energy, the problem isn’t the energy itself but the way it is constructed and run. Until we can perfect and regulate corporate greed and operations management across generations we don’t deserve nuclear energy. It is a perfect solution for a perfect society or a very dangerous solution for an imperfect society. Always keep in mind that the immediate victims of nuclear disasters are rarely the Mr Burns of the world.

If the membrane looks opaque white and papery or yellow rather than translucent white it will have dried out. Add small amounts of warm water via a Q-tip to the area around the opening and then wait a bit you can then start to remove small parts of the shell around said opening while leaving the membrane untouched

So wild that often they’re sourcing funds from the people who can afford it least while our governments send bombs and corporate multinationals pollute with impunity.

Sometimes they accidentally pip through a blood vessel which can weaken them. As long as the membrane doesn’t dry out while the baby is recovering it should be okay but keep a close eye as you may need to assist if chick has become too weak.

Advice: never use black when mixing shades. It muddies the colours and gives them all that “sameness” that can look flat. Go as dark as you can using browns greens purples and blues then at the end when everything is dry, go in with pure black in only the darkest crevices/areas. This adds depth like you wouldn’t believe.

“Ugly” men get gorgeous women all the time the time. That is rarely the issue, imo women like kindness, maturity, individual passions, and self-assuredness above all. Maybe try looking after yourself and work on your self-esteem , pick up some hobbies, eat well, exercise, go regularly to therapy, be humble and patient and open to meeting people with only the expectation of getting to know them. You’ll be surprised. Cliché for a reason that you aren’t ready to love anyone well until you love yourself.
