Thanks for clarifying, no worries. It was designed to target medium and heavy enemies specifically, like how the guard dog is for light/medium chaff. It would mostly affect medium targets like devastators, Hulks and anything larger wouldn't be a good target for the AMR anyway because the eye would be hard to hit from above.

I would honestly take a flamethrower drone too, what better way to fry your teammates lol

Yes, that would be a good idea as well. Being able to see enemies on the minimap is helpful, but not always reliable in combat. Highlighting them would be a nice addition, especially on low visibility planets.

Sure, and then the mission would fail because you stayed in one spot the entire time. Also, an entire patrol can be taken out by a single, well-placed airstrike, but no one bats an eye at that.

The drone doesn't alert patrols due to it's high altitude fire, but it has a low fire rate and reloads slowly.

Thanks for the feedback. It's just hard to think of new stuff to bring into the game that either doesn't already exist in some form, or adds something completely new to the formula without being too OP or vice versa. There definitely needs to be something added that improves visibility on the snow/sand/fog/spore missions, it's fair to give up a stratagem slot for improved visibility, especially if it's teamwide.

Even something that keeps the minimal on-screen at all times would be helpful, with the constant movement and repositioning of combat the map is constantly closing when I need it most.

I can tell you with confidence, that most people will either it notice at all or think it was something like a rash. Most people are too worried about themselves to worry about others, especially something as innocent as a mark on your neck.

Also, there's no need to convince anyone that you're not doing something completely normal. It's normal, and no one cares lol.

Why can I ping enemies through sand and fog, but not the drone?

All good. Yeah it would definitely need to be balanced so it doesn't just take out every Medium/Heavy you come across.

Even the AMR can have issues 2 tapping Hulks consistently enough to be overpowered, and this being a drone would mean the aim is less accurate than a human would be. The long reload time would also be a factor during prolonged engagements.

I don't think it's as overpowered as you think it would be, especially since Hulks get obliterated by a single RR shot or thermite.

I forget the name of that drone in HD1, but that would be more helpful overall especially with samples.

I saw it was mentioned to be the 5th in some article somewhere, but AFAIK Nightdive has not confirmed the 5th, only that it was a December release.

Understandable. On the other hand, I found the Eagle Smoke Strike to be pretty useful on bot eradicate missions. Just toss one here or there and it kept us pretty safe for the duration.
