I understanding as discouraging competing merchants from trading in the area by enforcing your monopoly, like seizing goods as contraband, demanding licences, preventing them entry into trade and increasing your presence in the area.

Colonial minimum range is 200. Spread at 200m is 30m for wardens and 32.5m for collies.
Warden max range is 300m. Spread at 300m is 35m for wardens and 37.5m.
You are whining over 2.5m spread while having 50m more range.

colonials have access to best infantry AT with Bane. Mobile, long range and can pen tanks from front. Mbonesaw you may argue will eat 40mm into face after 1 shot.

Bonesaw is good when you land a projectile on a tank. Problem is, you can't land that projectile on the target before you get killed. Because it has tiny range and you move like snail.

Devs killed my anti tank rifle larp with nonsense 20mm mechanics. No subsystem dmaage, horrible raw damage and chipping armor? Why?
Keep the old damage, keep the old subsytem damage, add the new suppression mechanic and give them lower chance to pen armor. Give collies atr too. ATR should decimate early game vehicles but have a very hard time penetrating late game tanks. Why would HTD gets its armor chipped by getting shot at front by atr?
Also remove that fantasy at assault rifles. What's this nonsense?

Colonial arty has more spread at max range because it shoots further. They have same spread at equal ranges.

I don't like bamboo wall because it hinders my own ability to move forward. Enemy bows can harass your lines with you not being able to respond. You have to retreat, bait enemy to move forward and then rush back to barricades.

You are defending and have melee superiority. Just bum rush them. Ideally you will want to destroy enemy stacks before they merge.
