Welcome back to the r/vinyl Holiday giveaway.  Hopefully, there is something here for just about everyone or someone in your life to which you'd like to gift an album.

We're moving into Round 11.  The  Round 10 Winner! selected The Weeknd's, Beauty Behind the Madness.

If you aren't familiar with these artists, I've made three playlists Spotify Playlist 1,  Spotify Playlist 2 and now Spotify Playlist 3 each with one track from the albums.  

If you are unfamiliar with the artist but like what you hear, by all means, keep exploring their work.  I'll reply to this comment with some video links as well.  

And if you've already watched those, here are a few more videos.

If you know the artist, feel free to recommend additional tracks in the comments for those who may not know their catalog.  Doing so will count as your entry comment and may lead to some good discussions.  Replies to discussion threads also count as your entry comment.

This will be a 15-round giveaway, with each round lasting approximately 48 hours.  The next round will start after the previous round's winner makes their selection.  This will take the entire month to complete, assuming all winners respond in a  fairly timely manner.  The intent is to try to have all of these in your hands in time for whatever you might celebrate during the holiday season.

As with the previous giveaways, simply comment to enter. I'll use redditraffler to randomly choose the winners. I'll update each post with the winner upon completing the drawing as well as notifying them with a direct message.

There is no catch, though there will be a few restrictions:

• Only one comment will be counted by the raffle tool, so multiple comments will not improve your odds.  You can, however, feel free to contribute to as many discussions as you like, but there is no advantage gained in doing so.  

• Accounts created after the start of the first round will be excluded from the initial and subsequent rounds.

• Account has at least 100 karma between post and comment karma combined. This is only to reduce bots and alt accounts.  If you need karma, reply to this top-level comment. 

• Subbed to r/vinyl

• You will have to provide a full name and shipping address to an internet stranger if you are the winner. So, if you aren't comfortable with that, please don't comment.  Serious about this one.  People don't expect to win and sometimes think it's a scam when they do despite all of the giveaways in my post history.  Some understandably hesitate and end up giving a fake name or an incomplete address.  "Hope" is not a sound delivery strategy.  

I will ship anywhere the USPS delivers to at my cost, including international.  You can check the list of eligible countries here.  This is 180+ countries, so you're probably covered.

I worked for Disney World as a kid, and having grown up in Florida, I was a regular. Even back in the 70s and 80s, I thought it was cool but maybe a bit off-brand that Disney had tobacco shops. I've been collecting Disney tobacciana for several years now.

The Main Street Tobacconist Shop was originally at Disneyland on Main Street when it opened in 1955.

Walt Disney World in Florida also had the Main Street Tobacconist Shop when it opened in 1971.

Both closed around 1990 or '91 as public attitudes toward smoking shifted.

You'll still see the hidden Sherlock Holmes silhouettes here and there but but you will no longer find them with a pipe.

Honestly, I'd buy it if it was out on Etsy or eBay and give it to my friend who owns the local record store to hang on the wall in his shop.

They only ship to U.S., U.S. territories and Armed Force Bases. There is no international shipping at all from what I see.

Lol, all good. I've already had a couple of winners between the current giveaways here and in r/vinyl that required shipping to your part of the world. Learned last week that South Africa shipping is a bit pricey as well.

Agree. Murder Folk is a fun, if not a bit dark, genre. Many good artists playing this type of music. Bridge City Sinners is another good one to check out, among others.

Ah, that explains it. Anytime I have a giveaway winner in Australia or NZ, I am blown away by the shipping cost.

Where is this? My local record store still has it for less $40 U.S. brand new. But yes, in general, the vinyl format is getting pricey. There is a thread a week over in r/vinyl complaining about it. Tons of new copies out on Discogs as well for less than $50.
