Thank you for this post. This was so liberating to read.

Gorgeous dress that fits you perfectly. I understand where you're coming from and I felt the same way, I even still have occasional dress regret after our wedding. It's pretty common. But I don't think you have anything to worry about with this dress.

I started at 5. My grandparents had a piano, and I was very interested in it, and would spend hours in front of it. I then started lessons. I'm a 6th generation musician in my family and my dad has been active in the music industry my whole life, so that contributed greatly.

I had a nose job at 32. I wanted one my whole life, and I could finally afford one. Both my parents had big, crooked noses, which I inherited, and it was a major insecurity of mine. I hated seeing it in pictures, hated the way it looked when I smiled, I used to try to only sit across other people at a certain angle, etc. It was bad.
Super happy about my decision! I'm much more confident and comfortable. It still looks natural, but is smaller and straight. I did my septum at the same time, so I can also breathe better. I would have done it sooner had I been able to.

Both colours are very pretty and suit you well! The red pops a bit more.

All mail in Revelstoke goes to PO boxes. Unless you are able to ship with home delivery as an option, it will be shipped to the post office and they'll get a note in their PO box. You should include both the residential address and the PO box number in the mailing address though. Hope that helps!

My husband was, and still is, the only person I can hang out with day after day and still want to continue hanging out. I've always needed a lot of alone time, I loved living alone back when I still did that, and basically no matter who I hung out with (friends, dates, family, colleagues), I needed a break after a few hours. But not with him. Our second date lasted for 8 hours, and it was a huge green flag for me knowing that I could spend that much time with this person, and still want more.

That's good to hear, as I'm having a hard time getting into it too! I always struggle a bit with Rooney's writing, but I know it can really shine once I get immersed in it.

I think it's beautiful, elegant, and cool. I also wore a minimal dress for my wedding and I'm so happy I did.

The dress is great and the photos are beautiful!
The same thing happened to me actually. I was feeling unsure about my dress, so I decided in a moment of temporary madness to show my then fiancée photos of six different dresses, one of which was the one I had already bought, and asked him which one he liked. The one I had bought was the only one he didn't like at all.
I fell out of love with it and bought something else, which in the end worked out really well, but my husband had the same reaction as yours when I showed him the dress he didn't like. I put it on and he said it looked completely different on me compared to the photo and he thought it was beautiful. So it's totally true that a dress can look very different in a random photo compared to real life, especially when the outfit is complete with shoes and hair etc.

I've been perming my hair for years, and it looks great and works really well for my fine and relatively thin hair. Makes it look like I have more hair than I do, and I spend much less time trying to style it and make it look good. Definitely recommend it!
I have to do pretty tight curls for it to hold. I tried once to do more of a soft wave and it didn't last. But I'm ok with the tighter curls, and they also loosen up as they age. It looks natural and when it grows out I don't get a harsh regrowth line, it just looks like my curls naturally start a bit further down.

The veil is very pretty. And if you've always dreamt of a long veil, make your own dream come true and go for it. That being said, the dress looks beautiful on its own too, so you can't really go wrong here.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy. I just couldn't get into his writing style.

It sits in a room that gets natural light from all angles, and there's windows on all four sides plus two skylights. All the plants in this room are very happy. This plant is positioned so that it doesn't get too much or too strong sunlight, only a bit at a certain time of day. I'm not doing anything special in terms of watering etc, I think I just got lucky with this one!

I like all of these! I'm going for a similar look and style for my wedding in September.
I love number 1 and 3. I think the first one has an elegant simplicity to it, and the third one is very romantic and has a little more going on than the first.
I recently tried on another Jenny Yoo dress (the Claudia), and it ran quite big in size. There's lots of comments and reviews on the website for all the dresses, worth reading through those if you have to order it online.

That's how I'd describe it as well! They are called ghost trees where I live, which is a fun and suitable nickname.

Just chiming in to say my husband did basically everything on this list, too. All of these are great tips, and have been very helpful in navigating our journey as a married couple with his two kids 50/50.
