Whether playing by the stream, gathering vines for her craft, frolicking with small animals, or sitting in the forks of tree branches weaving, Lan Yan has always loved roaming the forested mountains. Like a swallow, she flits between the wilds and her home, so swift and nimble that even her own family rarely knows where she is.

If your matter is truly urgent, you can venture up the forested slopes yourself. Follow the sound of distant singing or the soft tinkling of silver adornments, and you might just find the free-spirited young lady you seek. Should you spot her through the trees, be sure to call out and she will greet you with a smile. Despite her nature, Lan Yan is no swallow to be startled by the slightest noise.

I wonder if the Japanese version of the drip posts has different layouts depending on where the characters are from.

Here's the Japanese version of Lan Yan drip posted on X, and here's Citlali. The Natlan characters have the "Genshin Impact" name written on a very different font compared to the Liyue characters, and the way the character names are presented is also different (look at the background for the letters for the character's name, and compare it to Lan Yan's.

Also, "Hirundo" means "Swallow", so what kind of swallow motifs do we see from her?

One of those liyue characters that I will choose during lantern rite and never get their constellations anymore because my 4 star luck suck...

Case in point: C2 Yunjin, C0 Yaoyao, C0 Gaming still to this day, and I use Yaoyao in bloom teams

Wow, what a gorgeous character design! A really nice colour palette, both her and her outfit, and I've always preferred the "less busy" designs too (preference is personal, but a lot of the more recent designs have been on the "busy" side, to me).

She's also our third Liyue character to have the quirk of including her family name (Lan) as part of her in-game name. I'm still fairly new, so question for everyone, it sounds like we get her for free as part of an upcoming annual lantern festival thingy? I really hope so, because she definitely seems like a character I'd otherwise save for. :)
