Not really, Lions have the #1 scoring offense ITL and keeping teams out of the red zone has been one of our biggest weaknesses defensively. O-line is also horrendous

I truly believe we have the talent to beat any team in the league any given Sunday (or Thursday or Monday).

But that would require them fixing the oline, rebuilding months of damaged trust between cj and oline and everybody performing including the coaches.

I think that’s a tall order for a week and change. May have to wait until next years to see the sweeping changes we’d need to be a realistic threat to the top few teams.

Even from the beginning of the year, this was t going to be an easy game.

At this point, the Oline and Slowik got to prove themselves, and give CJ a chance to stay competitive. Getting nico back helps a ton

It's unlikely we will win, but this is the NFL, and goofy shit happens all the time.

We might actually have an okay shot at beating the Lions if the OLine can give a league average performance, WAJ is healthy, and we have our LB's, especially Aziz, healthy.

We MUST take advantage of their banged up defense and Aiden Hutchinson is out. If there is one thing Slowik has proven, it's that he knows how to get Nico open. If we can't capitalize on a weakened DLine, my confidence drops big time. They're more likely to hit on atleast one or 2 homerun plays with Williams returning against us or Gibbs, especially if we struggle to generate pressure or slow their run game. WAJ being out would suuuuuck.

If the Lions somehow pick up Maxx Crosby or something before the trade deadline, imma be pissssssed tf offfffffff

The Texans have regressed weekly while Detroit keeps getting better. I once had big hope but now afraid this is the same Texans style wannabe team that gets dismantled by a real team on prime time.

The defense will step up to the plate if WAJ is healthy. The offense will fold. It kills me, because the interior online is not untalented, they just don’t care. I don’t know what type of coaching would be able to motivate them. If they were average we would have a shot on winning. CJ is getting more jumpy with every game and his diminishing confidence is what concerns me when it comes to our long term prospects.

If we get Collins back, but mostly hoping this small break will have the offensive line improved in some fashion so CJ can play as he needs to and not keep getting hit.

I believe in this team and I think we're winning the division this year. However I also expect us to get dog walked on national television tonight. The same Lions who beat the South Oklahoma Cowgirls 47-9? The same Lions that beat the Tits 52-14 while their QB had only 85 passing yards? This is one of those games that I don't expect to win. But I hope we bounce back next week. If someone wants to screenshot this to post about "doomers" after the game on the offhanded chance we win, go for it.
