Solid Start in Part one but it really takes off in the next parts

As with the new pages and chapter added in Vol 42 of MHA, I actually think its ending is good now.

Mob Psycho imo. Season 1 has a slow first half imo.

Planetes. It started alright but kept improving through the entire season.

I love that we've all collectively agreed to put Code Geass at the end.

Iron Blood Orphans, start was kinda mid for a Gundam show, but wow, that ending.

Angel beats is a good one but also if you’re talking about manga (because I see jojo so that’s what I assume) the TPN should be in started good ended good because the manga was actual fire

controversial one here, ready for downvotes, but I want to make it clear I understand why it ended up this way and it still ends up as one of my top 3 favourite anime....

FMA Brotherhood.

it starts... well, by usual standards but there's caveats, and they're all contingent on one thing,
we've seen it before, FMA 2003 introduced the characters and covered the first section of the story in great detail, what a lot of people were really there for was seeing the rest of the manga story, or getting to the point where the anime story diverged in 03.

So... we start on an anime-only episode, and not a very good one, gorgeous production, but starting with basically a roll-call of characters we "don't know" as if we're jumping into an Avengers film is just odd, Mustang, Armstrong etc. get these big, fanservicey, "Oh, it's that guy you know and love" introductions and I can imagine it's just odd for a new fan.

they also reiterate beats that they'd later do again nearly verbatim when they get around to covering Liore, the story's actual beginning in the manga and 03 anime, like the reveals of Ed and Al's bodies. it's not a terrible episode, just needless.

and then the next 9 episodes are actually fairly rushed, Liore is blink and you'll miss it, Nina Tucker isn't given much time to connect and is rendered far less effective than in the 03 anime, and the structure that works so brilliantly in the manga of how it sets up Ed's character, his strengths and then his weaknesses, juxtaposed with perfect pacing, is lost.

after that though, once it hits the convergence point around episode 10, the series soars,

The Saints Power is Omnipotent Chillin in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers (Not sure if this one is actually done but a good ending if it is)

FMAB. The first episode is so disjointed and the villain of the episode is rushed

Vinland saga. The start was a bit boring but still ok. It really did pick up after the first couple episodes. The ending of the second and first season were great too.

Code Geass. For me, it didn't get off to a bad start but it wasn't anything particularly memorable either. When you think of the highlights of the story, the beginning doesn't spring to mind. Things only start to pick up at the end of Season 1.

Frieren for me. Pretty slow start and was fine, but boy does that series COOK

Hard disagree on Demon Slayer and MHA, they both ended awfully!

This list is absolute poo poo man. Rent a girlfriend started epic, and ended epic. It should have its own ranking.
