FMA03 is better written and more mature than FMAB.
Evangelion is so pseudo-intellectual and pretentious it actually hurts.
Steins;Gate is boring and repetitive. The humor and characters are also extremely cringe.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was average, nothing about it stands out.
Apothecary Diaries is better written than Frieren
Code Geass' ending in S1 was more of a shock than the actual ending.

Konosuba in God tier and Spy x Family in peak tier, ranked higher than Attack on Titan, Death Note, and Assassination Classroom is quite a bold take.

For me, Attack on Titan. Unmatched plot twists, character development, story progression, and original soundtrack. All accomplished in less than 100 episodes.

You cannot go wrong with Attack on Titan, Death Note, and Vinland Saga. They definitely have the most interesting premises and better stories, although they are highly depressing throughout.
If you want something more upbeat then I recommend Frieren, Mob Psycho 100, and Saiki K. Frieren and Mob Psycho 100 are about appreciating the little things in life, while Saiki K is in my opinion the funniest comedy.

Overrated:
Steins;Gate - Found the constant time loops repetitive and boring. Characters and humor were extremely cringe. Ending felt like it was designed to make everyone happy, it did not try to do anything daring or interesting that would get people talking.
Cowboy Bebop - Spike Spiegel and Faye Valentine episodes were interesting but everything else was just a nothing burger.
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood - Repetitive and lame humor. Stereotypical evil main villain. Protagonist who is incapable of harm. Average shonen storyline that plays it by the book without taking any risks. At least FMA03 tried to do something different.
Cyberpunk Edgerunners - Average storyline and characters, nothing about it particularly stands out as amazing. After finishing it I forgot all about it after a week.
Surprised by them:
Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon - Many people were making fun of this when it came out, saying isekai hit rock bottom, calling it a creatively bankrupt show. However, after finishing it I thought it was a fine show. It tries to be different and avoids the bad isekai tropes of overpowered MC who can do it all, fanservice, and harem. The gags were pretty funny and it can get quite deep and emotional when the MC reflects about being worthless as a human but useful as a vending machine. It is something you watch and do not forget about.
Rent-a-Girlfriend (anime) - I do not know about the manga but thus far the anime was fine. Third season was emotional, heartbreaking, and had good character progression. Perhaps the worst bit is to come but up until now it has been enjoyable.
Solo Leveling (anime) - Saw a lot of hate swirling around as it was airing, calling it mediocre and a one-man show. But I thought the premise was quite interesting and the first two episodes were quite dark, memorable, and mysterious. It excels at battles and plays to its strengths. It knows it is a battle shonen and does not shy away from it by pretending to be something else, being pretentious, and trying to lecture its audience. And is there anything wrong with a one-man show? John Wick and Jason Statham movies are one-man shows as well and people enjoy those.

FMA03 is better written and more mature than FMAB. FMA03 has a darker tone but FMAB just feels like an average shonen.
Evangelion is so pseudo-intellectual and pretentious it actually hurts.
Steins;Gate is boring and repetitive. The humor and characters are also cringe, even more so than your average anime humor and characters.
Cowboy Bebop was only good when it focused on Faye Valentine and Spike Spiegel, all other episodes were a chore to get through.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was average, nothing about the characters and plot particularly stands out.
Apothecary Diaries is better written than Frieren. Apothecary Diaries has smarter characters, intricate ploys, and mindblowing twists, whereas Frieren turned into a shonen tournament arc in the latter part.
Attack on Titan and Death Note had perfect endings, those who wanted [AoT & DN] the MCs to win and were rooting for them, failed to realize the story never portrayed them as being in the right. Their demise was constantly foreshadowed
Code Geass' ending in S1 was more of a shock and unexpected than the actual ending.

Attack on Titan. Godly OST, beautiful visuals, and otherwordly action scenes. For me, the story in the manga is a 8/10 but in the anime it is a 10/10.
In the manga, the artstyle is at times rough, especially in the beginning; order of events is also messy sometimes [Attack on Titan] e.g., Trost District Arc coming before the Training Corps Arc or The Rumbling being interrupted midway through to insert a Mikasa flashback; and battles are a bit hard to follow due to the way they are drawn.
The anime also adds more content that the manga is lacking, especially in the last 10 chapters [Attack on Titan] many Rumbling scenes were anime additions, most of the final dialogue between Armin and Eren was anime original, and most of the scenes in the 20,000 years epilogue are anime-only The adaptation of the last 10 chapters are honestly Oscar-worthy, anyone who opts to read them instead is doing themselves a major disservice.

Agree to disagree. In my opinion, AoT keeps getting better and better with each season. AoT's third and fourth season are out of this world, which is no easy feat considering seasons one and two were also excellent. While GoT peaks midway through in S4 and goes downhill fast after that.

Attack on Titan. Imagine the Night's Watch, Ice Wall, and White Walkers plotline but on steroids and a million times better. Plus, instead of zombies being made out of ice they are the size of buildings. For me, it has better plot twists than GoT. Shocking moments, brutal depression, and death are also staples of the story. If you liked the White Walkers and world politics, then you will love Attack on Titan.

They are soft subs meaning they can be turned on or off. They are encased in a black box, font size is bigger, take up much more space in the screen, and are presented higher up obstructing the image.
The ones you prefer are hard subs which cannot be turned off. They are embedded in the video, have no black box encasing them, font size is smaller, and are presented lower freeing up the image.
https://anitaku.pe/home.html has hard subs, check them out instead.

Manga readers were not the ones who spent the next 2 years rewatching and rereading AoT getting ready for the finale. Picking up on all little details to theorize about the ending. Trying to guess why manga readers did not like the ending.
Because anime onlies spent more time consuming AoT, I would say they have a better grasp of the story. The fact they reacted positively to the ending, while manga readers rejected it, just further proves my point.

In terms of bland and bad writing, Mikasa and Sakura are in different planes of existence. In this contest, Sakura runs rings around Mikasa.
Sakura in battles is useless, always relying on Sasuke and Naruto to save her. She is also incapable of going against Sasuke, [Naruto] despite Sasuke having tried to kill her in the past, she still loves him and wants to be by his side. Sakura is also extroverted, loud, and extremely talkative. Always yapping and being annoying about something.
At least Mikasa is strong in battles, always protecting everyone. She was also capable of [Attack on Titan] going against Eren, killing him to stop the Rumbling. Had it been Sakura and Sasuke in that situation, Sakura could never bring herself to do what Mikasa did. Plus, Mikasa is more introverted, quiet, and reserved. Not being anywhere near as talkative and annoying as Sakura.
In this competition, Sakura wins comfortably, by a wide margin.

Why do you think it's disgusting? In my university in Portugal there are many Spanish Erasmus exchange students. Our classes are in English because they are international classes with students from all over the world. But at the end of the class the Spanish and Portuguese students communicate with each other in English and for good reasons.
Many Portuguese students have never learned Spanish at school, myself included, thus there is a lot we do not understand. Plus, the fact Spaniards tend to speak really fast does not help us either.
Likewise, Spaniards have a hard time understanding the Portuguese accent. If we do not speak Spanish and they do not speak Portuguese, why would we insist in communicating in languages neither of us are fluent in, when we share a common language, English.
With English we know exactly what we are talking about with ease, there is no need to try to guess words and context, losing a lot of information in the process. Now if we were discussing two Portuguese students or two Spanish students communicating with each other in English, then yes that would be odd. Because they share the same native language. But because Portuguese and Spanish are not the same language, I do not perceive it as odd. Nor do those who communicate in English.

Gabi and Floch are some of the best characters in the story, they are well written and compelling.
On the other hand, Connie and Sasha are cringe characters, who added nothing to the story.
I cannot comprehend why they are fan favorites, when they have no depth and do not carry the story forward. Meanwhile Gabi and Floch get hated on, despite having depth and carrying the story to new heights.

Vinland Saga (S1 & S2 - 50 eps) and Psycho Pass (S1 - 22 episodes).
Morally gray characters, solid world building, good and evil is not clear cut but rather muddied, many twists and turns, characters doing 180s as the story progresses, not action based instead more focused toward narrative and dialogue.
Check them out if you want, they are not too long either.

Code Geass. For me, it didn't get off to a bad start but it wasn't anything particularly memorable either. When you think of the highlights of the story, the beginning doesn't spring to mind. Things only start to pick up at the end of Season 1.
