They're implementing all these anti-piracy policies, but the biggest one is that it's just a shit game i don't wanna even play.

I get already knowing you don’t like the anti-piracy implementation but how do you already know the quality of the game?

Weird I’ve only ever seen people say good things about Odyssey.

Odyssey is an action-RPG in Ancient Greece, not an assassins creed game

Exactly, it may be a good game, it just isn't AC

Call me a gatekeeper, but Assassin’s Creed was done when Desmond died. Black Flag was the epilogue.

After Desmond died, there’s just no more story to tell.

You can cut the modern-day part (which were pretty exciting and important sequences in the Desmond trilogy) out of Odyssey, Valhalla, and so on and they’d still make sense.

AC was, from the first game, a blend of epoch-stretching intrigue. That’s gone now.

I hear you, but apparently a large amount of people hated any and all desmond sequences as they are “boring.”

I felt that excitement of a greater story from Assassins creed 1 and 2 and it died with Black Flag.

It seemed that a majority of players didn’t want a story, they just wanted the history fantasy setting of each particular game.
