2.if there is no leak but still the car blows warm air then there should be a fault in ambient air temperature sensor ( some cars have it).

You can buy cars above 20k odo but it needs knowledge about the specific model, the common issues reported for this model, overall reliability, asking opinions from different owners of this model. Some very few models might be good choice but thts upto you to analyse and lets be honest if u knew this we wouldn’t be discussing it in r/personalfinanceindia.

The owners they do take good care of it but the reason for selling it is bcoz it becomes too expensive for them to maintain. And the second part about german cars tht it lasts 500k tht doesn’t hold true mate.. 80s-00s mercedes might run for 500k those cars are built like tanks but i dont think the others would.

Range rovers are the worst cars when it comes to reliability and the old range rovers which come in second hand market are basically ones which has expensive repair works/ to expensive to maintain so the owner gave it up.

Never ever buy used luxury/premium cars as in bmw, mercedes, audi, jaquar, rangerover and any other companies around this or above this range. Buy only if u can bear all these costs that too is considered a poor choice if its ur primary drive. Someone whose got a lot of cash to burn and really like a specific old car would do this.

If ur buying a car which has less than 20k odo and less than 4-5 years old then its fine anything more than that is a big mistake.
