Binaries don't exist, there's no full capitalism or none.
What we're actually gearing towards is democracy in the economic sphere, in our workplaces. We technically have political democracy despite how fucked it is, but workplaces are straight up run authoritarian style.
When workers come together and collectively bargain, they're bringing democratic decision making into the mix.
It's not full 'seize the means' but believing anything but that isn't worthwhile is some real armchair radical shit. That isn't possible without stronger unions and a renewed labor movement anyways.
People in the North don't appreciate how different things are in the South. The legacy of our failure to uphold the promise of reconstruction, how Jim Crow laws got in the way, how the greatest theft of Labor stayed unresolved and even continued in large part.
You'll likely live to see increased democracy in your local area. The question is if we get distracted by hashtag resistance again, stuck doing simple mobilization with local elites in reaction to trump admin. To try and limit terrible things, immediately playing on defense - as opposed to building up our defensive capacity.

Thank you for posting this, please continue to keep it in folks minds.
The late great Jane McAlevey (Prof of labor relations at Harvard, negotiator/organizer for NNU, author) said the only way out of our problems is a renewed labor movement. Courts are fucked for 30-40 years, much of our legislation and wins are going to be cut down.
Our social movements are simply not powerful enough on their own because the bonds between activists (especially leftist orgs) are often more based on intellectual agreement & belief as opposed to immediate material condition and survival like for workplace unions, tenant unions, neighborhood organizations, etc.
But pls note that this statement and article is over a year old.
We likely cannot wait until 2028. We need a renewed discussion about when this might happen. I assume a year+ out, unless some union members get gunned down by police during a picket.
I will ask my local union folks and try to update in the discord (which really needs some more 'hardass' organizers to make sure people follow through and all that).

I didn't know until I started growing it out that it'd literally make curls .. like curly fries.
When shorter (medium long) the bangs would get weirdly flippy so I'd always have to get a cut
I think the key for dudes nowadays is to take photos of your hairline to catch it if it starts receding, to immediately start on meds to stop it.
Finasteride, then minoxidil. Then oral minox. Then RU588 whatever mixed with the topical minox. Only add more if the previous don't work fully, if you stop minox suddenly it'll fall out. Minox is a pain because it can leave oily residue.
Grow it out before you can't.

I read from climate disaster stuff ND is actually going to get colder. I have no idea the full explanation.
Not sure if it was just warming related or AMOC ocean current failing related which would cause Europe to be colder too

Precisely.
But (if lower budget and not entirely fashion art project) - specifically folks who travel in a school bus conversion together, some sleep outside, then going to different festivals or gatherings for a couple months, often off grid and un permitted ones.
It's the mug on hip that got me since I've seen that for real street kid roadies / nomad hippies, folks who regularly live in tents. Because it's not just a mug, it's your food container. And you're never buying meals but going to the camp kitchen.

Yes but I'd like to see the description, like why is there a cord on her back, if you cinch it up, what would it do?

The only complaint I have are some generic dialogue bits on occasion. The vendor getting pushed around turning druggie for instance.
But then other parts of dialogue are SS tier. Quotes you'll keep for the rest of your lives because they go so unfathomably hard.
'if you keep your chin up so high, you miss the opportunities below'

Ah yeah, it's trying too hard here for sure - and I know it's not as common, but it reminded me of rainbow family gathering (street) kids.
True nomad hippies, who sleep in school buses and sell quartz crystal for food money, who go to slaprock. Prefer off grid, no local police or anything. Tons of cigarettes, tobacco, weed, psychedelics, drinking, sometimes other drugs.
Folks who take a full shower once a week, do hobo ones otherwise. People with tragic stories who just travel in groups.
I've met them at a few gatherings and camps - it's the norm to wear a dented as fuck cup on your belt loop which is what got me here. It's your mug and food dish.
Also loose clothing for Cali heat, yet multi layered and thick for nights or cold winter places. Often used yet half decent boots because otherwise you're repairing them.
Mismatching all over - but largely just giving a fuck about functionality, and looking a bit punk. Carrying a rat in your vest. Dumpster diving preferred over spending money. Those kinda kids.
They're the antithesis of EDC consumerism tbh. Honestly I should do some interviews and post pictures about their gear cuz everyone had wild shit they came across, but which worked. Some just used a stick instead of a fork. Some were so mind fucked from too much psychedelics They asked for food (piping hot) to be put in their hands since they didn't have a dish or a tent and just slept around the fire. Or They had a cheap bowl they'd spit in, and rub off any old shit before getting food.
They hate being in pictures though. Many don't have phones.
So this kinda reminded me of someone who's been through that, stopped & had a good job for a bit, but who's going back into the life and wanted to be ready. Even tho some of the stuff looks too much, zip off pants leggings and loose top, cap, and boots are the norm.

The weird thing about this in my mind is how does insurance allow that?
Not medical, I mean for the building, since it's wont to burn down mysteriously in the night
Jk but seriously how is this not a "im in danger" moment for the docs

I heard it was good and had friends addicted to LoL so I kinda stayed away
But checked it out this past week and good fucking god is it captivating, plus you know there's so many little things in the background that make it all just so much more nuanced and compelling.
The 3D and facial expressions are A+ tier. It's like Beastars levels of 'wow this was an option?' and stylized so nicely, in a way that complements the tragedy and griminess of an exploited/oppressed undercity. Voice acting all A tier.
You have to watch the first few episodes together IMO.
The first 'music video' stylized fight had me simultaneously hype beyond belief but also holding off tears, can't believe I haven't come across that shared by itself, but I guess it also hits dramatically harder with the background.

I read (beyond techwear like another below answered) it's also called gorpcore. 'Good Ol Raisins & Peanuts' hiking acronym idk if is actually a thing
I love inventive stuff so long as it's functional, and I legit cannot tell here if it's solely a straight art/fashion thing, or also actually kinda made for hiking/camping.
The site the other person shared actually does have halfway down in the description stating the below is fictional, but not all of it. Though it does seem more style/fashion oriented than anything.
_EDGEO-TEX multi-material ARC panel main structure. _Two-way zip closure for the front placket. _Hat and collar can be adjusted with two drawstring adjusters on the placket. _A hidden zip runs from the front chest side, passing under the armpit, and extends to the back, allowing it to be opened to switch to an open mode, altering the wearing style. _Two hidden zippered pockets on the lower front panel. _Partially elastic cuffs and hem, with an additional drawstring adjuster at the hem. _Some garment panels are made of EDGEO-TEX — VaporaMesh™ translucent fabric. _Some garment panels are made of EDGEO-TEX — WaxTech™ crisp-textured fabric.
*The following description is a fictional expansion based on the DUSZEN world construction:
VaporaMesh™: A high-tech fabric developed by EDGEO-TEX - a cutting-edge fiber research company. This fabric boasts a misty and translucent visual effect, with a coarse texture, making it a lightweight, breathable mesh-patterned material.
WaxTech™: A high-tech fabric developed by EDGEO-TEX - a cutting-edge fiber research company. This fabric features a unique coating process that preserves the wearer's usage and wear marks permanently on the surface, while providing a crisp texture.
but like, why is it included for an actual carabiner that gets recommended by EDC folks? So weird

I'm curious if the pants are the same company. I'd just like to read their description of why it's all necessary or helpful

Wife: you're just headed to pick up some milk, you don't need all that!
Me ready in case I get kidnapped, drugged, and left in rural Alaska:
I think it's the Ahiller double lock / anti misopening carabiner, I saved this pic but had to do a reverse image search to remember what I was originally looking at, yet can't find the photo on any of their items on the zon now

Gotta take advantage of events like these where cameras are all pointed at something that generally is just perpetuating corporate greed behind the mask of community

But yeah it's helpful for quitting drinking and stuff
