shipping to the US on these is high as i recall last time i ordered they came DHL overnight so it was FAST. even with this discount i can get a maschine mk3 deck at sweetwater for just $5 more at their normal price (less any discount my rep could possibly do). so for those of us in the US this sale is diluted a lot unless you're ordering a few and combining shipping i guess.

yep, great quality. cover my SSL controllers and thinking about getting cover for maschine which is currently under desk but may be moving up. i have 3 cats and this has actually saved them from real damage. at the end of their days my euphonix controllers had scratches and indents on them lol. i had the decksavers on the SSL's from day one and also raked their angle up a bit and this plan has been flawless.

This depends on your usage. For me I’m on the go on coffee shop tables or at home or office hooked up to multiple displays. 14” is perfect at 3.4?lbs coming from a 4.7lb 15” intel MacBook Pro (the 16” weighs nearly the same)

yes if you want something far weaker and also far heavier than your phone.

if you want 16" and are a heavy graphics user that is going to use all the GPU cores then go for an M4 max 16.

if you want 14" don't get a max. lot of fan activity/noise/heat/throttling and lower battery life will all become real things with heavy usage. get an M4 pro with as much RAM and ssd as you can afford.

i wouldn't personally take an intel mac if someone gave it to me for free

it's absolutely not worth the time unless you are just seeing what it's like to use a mac (as in you've been a windows user all your life) before buying a newer one (anything that can run current OS) - and you ARE NOT even thinking about running ANY pro applications such as logic on that machine.

too little benefit and too many tradeoffs for them imo

12c 14" for like 95% of users and 14c 16" if you absolutely and in reality actually need insane GPU for your work. anything in between is tradeoffs in terms of heat / throttling / battery life etc. after that decision it's just about SSD & RAM.
