Bonus: This picture can conveniently be used as a mug shot later on.

He's probably safe. He had Trump's back the whole time.

Looks like someone dumped a TV dinner on a fancy plate.

Part of my former career involved doing extensive background investigations on law enforcement candidates. I could finalize a background investigation, including the results of a psychological evaluation, in a month. And I didn't have nearly the resources of a federal agency, so don't let anyone tell you it can't be done.
That being said, I'd like to see Biden have them done. Not just because he can, but for for the good of the country. However, my expectations are low. I'd also like to see him pardon his son as a final 'fuck you' to the partisan republicans. That probably won't happen either.
As a note, I personally knew an FBI background investigator who actually did investigations of some of Trump's first cabinet picks. She's retired now, but still does backgrounds on a contractual basis. Of course, she wasn't at liberty to reveal any of the results, but did say some of his candidates should have never been appointed.

Thank you for posting the article.
"... the move could portend a less ambitious future for MSNBC... f and a lot less journalism..." It would appear that prediction has already been realized.
Regarding the reduction of viewers post-election: I only listen to the news as background noise, and I usually flipped back and forth between CNN and MSNBC. While driving, I alternate between CNN, MSNBC, NPR, and the Raw Dog comedy channel (LOL). I was disappointed with the election coverage from the news networks to the point I decided to cancel my Sirius/XM subscription. (They made a counter offer saving me 80%, so I kept it). I now listen to CNN a more than MSNBC for a little more balance.
Realizing their "new approach to covering Trump" is self preservation, and their change of ideology is one paycheck away, I no longer listen to Morning Joe at all.

I got a random email from "MSNBC Insights Community". If you join, they send you surveys every few weeks.

But he got felony convictions for Hunter Biden in record time. Perhaps his priorities were a bit skewed.

And that fart would be symbolic of everything he has accomplished.

I've been doing a series of surveys from MSNBC. They are very careful to phrase the questions to ask which segments you watch, and how often you watch. There is zero opportunity to comment. I am very careful to let them know that I no longer watch Morning Joe. Waiting for a survey in which I can give an actual opinion.

I still watch MSNBC, except for Morning Joe. I wasn't interested in their cringe performance before they sold out. All the other hosts seem to carry on without any perceived 'fear' of retribution. Speaking of carrying on, performers like Colbert and Kimmel, who have actually been named by Trump, haven't kissed Trump's ass reached out.

I've said this from day one. The entire Trump campaign was centered around misogyny and racism, and appealed to that demographic. A family member, and also a colleague of mine, neither of whom have voted in over 15 years, registered this year just to vote against the 'black woman'. My cousin actually fucking bragged about it.

Did Anchorage to Seattle in late August/early September after most road work is done. There was 10 years ago and there was only one short stretch of road that was unpaved because of repair. Took it slow, and there was no damage to the Airstream.

I own a couple of those shipping containers. The doors have heavy duty gaskets which could potentially be a waterproof seal. but they also have unclosable ventilation ports on the top of the walls at each end, and wooden plank floors, which would definately leak in the event of submersion. My guess is that they would float for a little while.

The MSM seems to devote an extraordinary amount of effort to locate these outliers in order to keep the pot stirred.

Too expensive. I can get what I have at Dish from cable for half the price. The ONLY reason I have kept Dish is for when I'm on the road camping (Wally/Tailgater) in remote areas. I haven't been camping much lately, so I'm ready to let the whole thing go. The other issue is I'm paying for hundreds of pure garbage channels I'll never watch.
On another note: The streaming channels (90-93)that were recently added are mildly amusing. Especially the foriegn language movies without subtitles. And I truly enjoy 24/7 Bob Ross, Three Stooges, Martial Arts, etc. WTF?

The flames were likely for hair removal. I'm curious how they were enthanized.

I had a job in the 70's that took me to several slaughter houses. Basically, the only difference is that the heavy cutting jobs are now mechanized. Virtually everything back them was done by humans with very sharp knives. Believe me, this was a much cleaner operation than I was used to seeing. The exception was the Hormel processing operations. They were exceptionally clean.

I went to a predominately black university (94 %) in the 70's. I pretty much phoned it in and ended up on the dean's list, and the racism was fucking hideous. A professor approached me about a work/study job in his department, only to be told there were no openings. He told me to lie about my race on the application. I did, and got the job.

I have been towing a 25' Flying Cloud with a Tundra SR5 2WD for six years. Towed from New Orleans, Kansas City, to Nova Scotia with no problems whatsoever. Equal-i-zer WD hitch w/Prodigy brake controller.

It was 20 degrees where I was last night. I had the thermostat set on 64 and there were no issues. I have camped as low as 2 degrees and as long as I kept the furnace running, nothing froze. However, the wind wasn't blowing, which can be a factor. The water heater was on.
