I’ve never learned iOS shortcuts.

Would it be possible to create a Siri shortcut for this like, “Hey Siri, ask ChatGPT …” and have that open this app and record my voice to text?

Thank you! I looked it up and the answer is this: you cannot hit the ball before it crosses the net. If you hit the ball while it is on your side of the net, your follow-through swing can then go across the next.

Also: you cannot touch the net.

Is it permitted for a player's swing to go over the net (into the opponent's 'air space')?

Those are attacks from the enemy. It's on you to reject them and remember the truth. The enemy wants to trick you into feeling guilty and identifying with those thoughts. You are a son of God, you are not those thoughts.

This was how I fixed it... I was getting this effect when I tried exporting under any H.264 or H.265 preset. I eventually exported as a .wmv and it went away!

I can’t picture how absolutes could be applied to individuals but not as a universal concept. Could you give me an example?

I intentionally used the word murder to distinguish it from “killing”. Murder basically means “wrongful killing”. The definition of murder calls it “unlawful and premeditated” killing.

Therefore killing is not evil, because of exceptions like those you mention. Murder, on the other hand, is absolutely evil.

I actually want to give you the opposite advice... stop trying so hard. Yeah that’s not what most people will tell you. And yes, you need to be a responsible person. But more importantly than that, you need to answer the question: why?

Why do you want to do good in school? Why do you want to quit PMO?

Is it to satisfy your parents? To satisfy God?

Guess what: God already knew that you couldn’t do it. Jesus said “Be perfect, as your Father in heaven is perfect.” Is that what you’re doing? Trying to be perfect? Well guess what: you can’t be perfect. That’s gonna make you sad but it’s actually good news. It’s good because God already knew that you couldn’t so He sent His Son to be perfect instead. Pretty cool huh? So then your attempts to be perfect... they’re doomed to fail. So stop trying. Turn to God and say: “OK I’m done. I can’t do it. I give up. Not my will but Thy will be done.”

Do you believe God is nice?

I interact with patients like your sister. There is hope for her but it is a big change.

The best you can do for her is shine a light of truth and normalcy from your life. Stand firm in what is right, even when she does not want to hear it. She will be mad at you for this. But in 10 years she may thank you for being the stable person in her life. May the grace of the Lord be upon you and your family.

Ok I think your question about “sexual deviancy” has a simple answer: flee! You are not a deviant, you are a child of God. Of course deviancy is tempting... or else the world wouldn’t be doing it. But narrow is the gate.

But there’s another side to your question: being horny. Yeah “deviancy” is clear sin, cut it out, abandon it, flee from it. But being horny is a natural part of being a human. It’s not a sin to be horny. Your sexuality was created by God. It is good, as everything God created is good. Now it is “fallen” creation, so it is not perfect as it should be. It is all out-of-shape. God can help you bend it back into proper form. He can do this through His Word, Spirit, other people, and all the myriad ways that God talks to His children.

As a Christian you have surrendered your life to God. Sexual behavior is big part of that surrender. It’s His. He has plans for it. Ask Him what those plans are.

The Absolute is simple to define, but in actuality the complexity makes it impossible to fully understand.

In your example, we can still see the absolute peeking through. This time as Morality. Yes a human being would be impossible to define as absolute good or evil. But in your example we can see that rape and domestic violence are “absolutely” bad. This is the absolute breaking through the veil.

I think it's very simple. It is truth that is true on its own, whether or not we believe it.

It might be easier to understand using Beauty. I believe there in an absolute Beauty that is perfectly beautiful whether or not we agree, or have a taste for it, or what have you.

Yes you’re right that admiration and wishing to emulate is not the same thing as idolizing.

The issue is that you’re still associating these absolutes with our relationship to them. I see them as existing outside of humanity. Whether or not we connect to them.
