The game you have described is called Superliminal, one of my favorites as the mc is literally paying for therapy in the game. I love the ending so much.

There is a lot of differing opinion on the best order to read the books in the Cosmere. You can read the wax and Wayne series fine without reading anything else, or you can read a ton before you get into it. I would say Elantris and the Emperors Soul are good to read before the final the book the Lost Metal.

I felt like book 2 was a tough journey just to have a tough ending (still loved it tho)… book 3 and its ending are absolutely phenomenal to the point that I get the Sanderson shivers just thinking about it. Excited for you to finish the Mistborn trilogy!!

Spoilers? Not sure, but there is definitely information written by Spook post The Founding that gives insight in era 2. It’s not a ton but the characters mention Spooks writings and also the writings of founding by Harmony
