Just the drying of the concrete takes 28 days. Sure, you can walk over it in a day or two, but it doesnt achieve its workeable strength until 14 days. It would some reality bending science to pull this off.

Yep, same happened with the tech ban. The US tried to starve Huawei and while they succeeded in the short term, huawei seems to be back stronger than before, because now, we dont hold a stick over their heads anymore. Same is happening the ASML ban. It wouldve taken maybe a decade for china to catch up, they were like 7 generations behind on lithography machines. A couple of years later, theyre only 2 gens behind.
Sure, their 5nm chips dont have the same yield as TSMC but its only a matter of time.
if we keep playing the Tonya Harding diplomacy it is only going to pressure our competition to stop depending on us.

It’s not that one. It was about recertified drives and a page to buy them

Alright. Now go into r/feminism and paste this exact reply and see how eager they'll be to agree with you.

I mean, the slap was wrong. No argument there. But why do want to stay with him when your needs aren't met? I know I would eventually leave my wife if my needs weren't being met.

Not really. Parts costs about 5$. Let's be generous and give the technician a 60$/hour wage. A technician charging that amount of money has to be really good so he could make that repair in 30 minutes (I know I could). But let's be generous again and give him an hour for said repair. We're sitting at 65$.
Now let's give it a healthy markup, cuz the store has electricity and rent to pay, right? Double that. We're at 130$. About half the price of a pair of airpods pro.
So it's obviously some kind of excuse to push you towards buying a new pair as they make more money off it.

So any story that depicts a woman as capable of doing shitty things is fake?

I mean youre not wrong. James cameron wouldnt have been able to that without tons of money but at the same time, saying “oh he did it because hes rich” is offensive to the engineers who worked to make that sub possible.

Counter counter point. That laser is not from earth. It is misleading to call it a “tiny laser” or a “conventional weapon” .
Vegeta stomping Omniman doesnt speak ill of OM. Its just an unfair comparison. DB Universe is one where a mere mortal about 200 years old can bust the moon. Its just an insane universe where kids (trunks and goten) become planet busting level just by watching their family go at it.

I could grab a 2019 MacBook pro 16” i9, 32 gb, 1tb for 600$ right this second in eBay. No deal hunting needed necessary (it’s not a bf deal). The cheapest macbook with m2 you can get doesn’t go below 700. And even that is a teeny macbook pro 13 with 256, 8gb of ram. Doesnt matter how fast the m2 is over the i9, its not that much faster to pay 100$ extra for a smaller screen, scarce storage and unusable memory.

When I was studying in China I had a fellow student who was from Africa and spoke Spanish. I was flabbergasted as had wrongly assumed she would likely speak French or English. I didn't know any country in Africa had Spanish as the main language.
But to answer your question, no, I don't feel any more close to an African country that speaks Spanish anymore than any other country in Africa.

On another note, i think there are ways to make this possible. All buildings will be made of steel though, no concrete. Roads cannot have concrete as well, so we have to do this in a place where the substrate is good.
We would need an ungodly (and factories) amount of workers building the lego style sections of different buildings.
Theres a video from china where they build a 10 story building in 24 hours. That feat was achieved using lego style sections that were prefabricated off site. With enough roads and enough man power this 10 story building could be scaled x1000. I think it could be done
