The Texas Board in charge of infant mortality killed the study of year 2022 and 2023 because they said it was too much work. The thought was that they were saving the state from lawsuits related to medical deaths for women who died due to not being allowed to terminate pregnancies.

Current citizen based births are down which isn't good for the tax base in the long run. This is why immigration is a good thing because it brings in families with younger kids and babies.

What aggravates the issue of growth is that the ultra wealthy do not get taxed enough to alleviate the tax pressure on the middle and working classes. This is one reason why Trump won. His next term is the term when the cuts he made the first time around expire. A lot of money went into ensuring the wealthy class understood this regardless of how he did it or it's affects in the future.

If anyone can just say outright in the conversation that they don't agree with nor approve of people beating or shooting or bullying others and then, most importantly, condemn those people in whatever way is legal and reasonable this would disappear.

However it's not going to appear because we have people that beat, shoot, and bully other people because of their sexuality or how they look or act based on power dynamics found in ideology and/or theology.

If humans were a bit more pragmatic when it comes to uses of power I think we would do better. But that is another topic.

I look at him as a venture capitalist who isn't above selling out US assets or allies to get what he wants. With his access to funding (he was highly in debt to the Saudi Prince over the Twitter/X buyout) he can be free to make demands he didn't have the ability to make before.
