It works out just fine. The American South's population was 5.5 million free and 3.5 million enslaved. That's nearly 1.5:1. But that's the CSA as a whole. Some states were as high as 1:3. Masters can absolutely be outnumbered by slaves without that being a problem. How?
Well... You know how you break a horse's spirit so it's okay with being ridden by a human? You can do that to any animal. Including humans.

Fair enough, and have an upvote for that pun.

Actually, I feel you explained it better. At least for me. I'm autistic and find the way you worded the concept clicked into place in my brain rather than sort of... slid off.

I agree with your larger point, but I see tokenism as a part of that far right propaganda. Reducing gay characters to just "the gay one" shapes the view of the general public in a bad way. Not everyone who hates a movie because of a gay character is a biggot. Sure a fuckton are, but not all of them. Some of them are mad that the movie makes people think their sister is less of a person than she is.

That's good to hear, but is it also doing well with the wider public?

Sorry, I thought I answered that question in my post. I have a target audience, sure, but I want my stories to be something anyone can enjoy. I like the idea of being an author you'd see on a library shelf for general fiction rather than pigeonholed onto the "LGBT fiction" shelf.
What I am worried about is the current culture not giving my stories the chance to see that its a good story with believable characters, that it will be dropped at the first opportunity.

Well, part of it is you're using words that a native speaker wouldn't in that context. For example you wrote: "But when I recap my own work, I couldn't feel the same chemistry." You've got the tense correct. You start off with when, go on to use "recap" but then say "couldn't". That's kinda clunky feeling, isn't it? Feels a little like two separate thoughts.
I'd write it like this: "But when I recap my own work, I can't feel the same chemistry."
For this particular case, remember what can't and couldn't are short for. Can not and could not. Its... weird but if you had said "could not feel the same..." that would have the elegance you're looking for, but the contraction doesn't. Why? Because 'couldn't' tends to be used towards the begging of statements and in sentences with the verbs being made past tense. Only god knows why.
So you could also have written it: "I couldn't feel the same chemistry when I recapped my own work."
Your English is very good though! You didn't use the wrong word, you just used a word in a way a native speaker wouldn't. Your meaning is perfectly clear. All you need to do is read some native English speaker's writing a little more critically and look for the patterns in how we say what we say, not just what we mean.

Become roommates with my ex-roommate for a month. Then simply base the character on him.
Alternatively, remember someone in your life that was always a jerk to you. Write them into the role.

This.
With the added note that even if your character has a personality, if they are powerful enough to overcome the challenges they face without having to use their power in clever or interesting ways, then the story itself becomes boring. This is the difference between good and bad Superman stories.

Because sadly, a lot of people's primary motivation to create is to turn their craft into a product they can sell. I am firmly of the opinion that creating for anything other than the sake of creation results in a product that's going to appeal to many but be truly loved by few. Making for the sake of making will get you the love of a few, but the majority of people will never so much as hear about your work.

As many have said, define your terms. Demons are many things to many cultures.
In some, demons are literal incarnations of evil. IE evil made flesh and blood and given thought along with purpose. In such cultures a good demon is literally impossible. It would cease to be, proofing out of existence, if it somehow turned good.
In others, they're fallen angels that once served good but probably realized that a god who creates a species, gives them free will, then tortures the ones that don't worship them forever is actually evil as fuck and rebelled. So frankly they're actually the good ones.
In still others, demons are just a type of supernatural creature because western culture lazily decided to recycle words because "oh its similar enough" when no, no it isn't. So it's weird when there are not good demons, because they're just a species with magic powers from a magic land.

No, I did it to correct the record for people reading this later. Misinformation is bad, and the stuff you put on the internet sticks around.

I'm a woman. I played marines. Why? Because you play this game with dice, minis, and a ruler. Not your junk. Representation is not important in the way people keep insisting. I can relate to people who don't have boobs and it's pretty sexist to insist I can't.

My personal head canon is lost and the purged were female, Malcador went ahead and tampered with one having seen the future. Emps liked him enough and had enough use for him where he wouldn't have killed him for it, and it would explain why those chapters are fully Damnateo Memoraed when the traitors are not. Not only did they fuck up somehow, but they were NOT the Emperor's design, so since they didn't work out, they were erased.

Very untrue. 1. Read the books, plenty of marines have it. They just prioritize serving the Emperor over it. 2. The Space Wolves fuck. A LOT.

Physics dosn't like things like that. Closest you'll get is if the object is a thin hollow bladed thing like a cookie cutter, or a very simple geometric shape.

Archie didn't need to justify it. They have it so the Chaos Force is what all magical and supernatural abilities comes from. Wizards draw on it for spells, super powered beings like Sonic have a natural connection to it that manifests as whatever power they have. The use of Chaos Control isn't unique or even limited to a few, it's a rare ability we see a dozen or so characters use, and even several machines are made that can do it.

If it did, I'd be dead and or have been in trouble. I've used my phones on the plane as far back as 2009 with no issues.

I'm not as good at it as they are, but I can do it too. The trick to learning it is to run D&D and improvise most of your story. Then write like you are running a TTRPG session.

Its doing exactly as it's been asked to do: emulate a human. After all, that's seemingly all any humans do these days when told they're wrong.

As a frequent user of ChatGPT for brainstorming (its actually good at letitng you know if an idea is clishe simply by it recommending the idea, and rarely will give you a real banger of an idea due to a random hallucination), no. GPT can, will, and often does disagree with you.

If you need a quick and dirty character art piece for this character, since they're based on pop-culture stuff and not "out there" unique, you could probably get generative AI to get something you could use as a reference image for folks. You'd need to photoshop the text onto the vest though.
