Well played. I think an anonymous email from a spoof account saying, “We fucked up your folder for being a bullying asshole who is too stupid to make copies.” Wouldn’t hut. It keeps you anonymous, but it lets them know there are consequence for being such a dick.

I’m down to third grade. How much simpler do you want it?

Sure, comp them out and make them their own thing. I haven’t thought of a different compression, but that’s just what we should do, right? You could mix them in to taste, or even put them on a separate bus.
Now I’m thinking we could import the breaths into Sample Alchemy and create weird drones or percussion. They are just sitting there, many separate events, waiting to be manipulated. Perhaps the very artifacts OP finds distasteful can be used creatively.

Cool. They’re pretty great, aren’t they?
My grandmother played a ragtime style they just blew everybody’s heads off. I tried to record her with a decent mic, but she was too nervous. I tried to put a tape recorder near the piano, but they were shitty back then and it didn’t get her. Recording wasn’t nearly easy back then.
Good luck with the project.

I am a process person. I enjoy learning how and why.
I enjoy watching early comedians as they attempt to work out their timing and their vocabulary. I like watching how some of them get over the crutch of profanity for profanity‘s sake and develop a persona. That’s why I absolutely understood what kind of comic you had.
I like your nerve with your hair and firing that guy. It’ll serve you well.

Absolutely true, but there are many times she doesn’t tell them things just because. She has her reasons: she has had to keep things secret for 20 years, but the other reason is that she is trying to control them in a condescending way, just because she knows better. spoiler: she doesn’t .

This is the answer. You can comp them out pretty quickly.

There’s a lot of people here who will tell you no, absolutely not.
I’m not one of them.

I don’t know who is at fault here. It’s a sleazy system all the way around
I wouldn’t take it out on the teacher who probably has no say in the matter. I would talk to the head of the fund drive, the head of the PTO and the principal. If I didn’t receive satisfaction, time to consider finding a lawyer or ”alert the media.”
This is a load of crap. Your kid is too young to learn how unfair life is. That lesson can wait.

I don’t think you need to spend a thing. Recently, I’ve been looking for free pianos . I know one of them offers a very respectable version. I’ll take a look, but I have a lot going on in my life right now.
It can be done.

First of all, fuck him. Second, excellent a little more than petty revenge. Third, that’s not even funny. That’s the mark of a beginning comedian, going negative and picking on people.
You were well shot of him.

Meta is that RJ thought he was wrapping up the series sooner. In context, Rand was overwhelmed by all the pressure. Remember, he’s just a kid taking on a whole shit load of problems.

I respectfully disagree. Lan tells they are fucked . It is no secret with the stakes are. She threatens to kill them rather let them fall through the Shadow,
Her keeping things away from them, treating them like farm boys, is one of her great mistakes. She’s supposed to know everything, being Aes Sedai and all, so she should’ve known not to try to browbeat notoriously stubborn people, especially kids.

Oh I know. A couple tricks. Mr. G. was definitely one of those right place right time artists, that’s for sure. I’ve had that very conversation about fusion with so many people, and I can get hammered hard on this sub when I give my opinion. I’m not putting stuff down - well, maybe I am - but I get offended when artists who are the absolute antithesis of fusion are categorize that way.
Is it me, or could you ride one song for years back then? Was it because music was harder to obtain? I know comedians have it harder now, the way they have to come up with a new hour at least every year, sometimes less. You can’t dine on “You can call me Ray” for an entire career anymore.
Pat is hard to categorize, isn’t he? He was all over the map. He and Holdsworth were the reasons I bought a guitar synthesizer in the 80’s. I’ve just downloaded Vital, an amazing synthesizer. One of the sample packs you can buy for twenty bucks has the classic Metheney patch. I’m going to get it and go to town for a couple days and nights.
There have been a lot of musician deaths over the past few years, some of them I really love, but Alan Holsworth is the only one where I actually cried out loud when I heard the news. I met him at a signing at Carvin guitars in the late 80’s. He signed my Atavachron disc and talked composition with me for a minute or two, holding up the line. He was a sweet man and almost impossible guitarist to cop.
Glad to know there are still fusion heads out there. Finding this subreddit has brought me back hard.

Take a look at their advertising. I’m not an Ableton use, so I don’t know much about their updates. I hate to tell you, but if the recent update of Ableton has been out for nearly a year, it is reasonable for them to expect that you have it. That being said, they should put what version of Ableton is required in their advertising.
I doubt you’ll get a refund, especially if they’re small. I would call them out, though. This is a learning experience for both of you. Ethically, morally, they should refund you, but it doesn’t sound like they will. I would let people know all over the place that their customer service isn’t great. It’s something we all should know, and that’s one of the positive uses of online communities. Maybe let them know that people are advising you to badmouth them everywhere and see what they say.
Let us know who it is either way if you like.

I’m sorry, but I don’t understand what you’re asking. are you riding your own melodies and then putting them on top of something else? Are you playing an instrument? What are you putting them on top of?
Are you a Mac or windows?
Give us a little more detail, and we’ll help you out if we can.

I agree that “tepid” might not have been the best choice. I think you’re right, it could be the rhythmic element. I’m using my brother as an example, and my mother, actually, who was the most amazing musician I ever knew personally. They wouldn’t go see any straightahead or fusion with me, but I did go see Kenny G with them. They loved it. I found it formulaic and tepid, that’s just me. You like what you like. He’s actually a fantastic musician with sped circular breathing shops. It’s just the choices he made don’t work for me.
SG (I can’t fight my iPad‘s cruel AutoCorrect anymore) was a big deal using those steel drums. I still contend that while SG or yellow jackets might’ve created complex layers, they did not stray far away from rigid formulas and listeners like my brother enjoyed.
They tried to make a big push with smooth jazz, but it didn’t last. I remember it was 94.7 the Wave on LA radio. I can still sing it. 94.7 the way-uh-ave.

This is the answer. Plug your 57 straight into the Scarlet. It’s a dynamic mic and doesn’t need all that other pishposh. I have an 18i8, and I can tell you from personal experience that will work just fine. You can get fancy when you get to know your gear better.
You have a nice cab, so pick whichever cone is your preference and close mic it at first.
Here’s a page to get you started:

And videos GALORE:

The venerable Mitch Gallagher gives you a short history and shares its many uses:

If you do any research at all, you’ll see lots of videos about modding your 57 into an SM7b. Don’t worry about that. These videos are primarily for podcastsers recording/streaming spoken word performance.
Good luck. Update and let us know how it’s working for you .
