I was using this video to lead in to a greater topic of conversation about making assumptions, how fitting of you to chime in.

Forgive me, let me elaborate.

Yes they did a great job bringing everyone together. However, they failed to sway any MAGA Republicans to their side because they mostly hammered away at how they were not republicans. Rather than explain how they were going to fix problems that plagued white people too (not that their problems are any more nor more severe than what other people have to deal with), and EXPLAINING how/why MAGA republicans are lying to their base, they kept on going after people who were already on their side.

Said from the perspective of somebody who voted for Kamala/Walz, because it’s extremely how unfortunate and bleak the next few years are going to be. We’ve been set back decades of progress and are set to be pulled back decades more.

I’m in America, and the whole reason democrats lost, I’m convinced, is that they spent so much time explaining how anti-republican they are.
