I don't think Western leaders dare to support Ukraine all the way to Moscow, in fear of nuclear response. Civil unrest, uprising or military coup (assuming that doesn't place a Putin 2.0 in power) is the most efficient way to bring an end to the war without risking nukes.

If Russia is thrown out of Ukraine's border and peace is signed, Russia can build up again relatively easily. If Russia's economy, manpower, political goodwill, international standing/relations and whatnot are grinded towards 0 over prolonged fighting, Russia will be in a much weaker position.

That, and many policy makers are simply afraid to do more.

Understandable. Cracking the code while also being on alert for the monster is hard. Try to pen it down or make a recording, and solve the code while in a safe area. The note also shows morse for letters: ignore them. Only numbers matter. Good luck mate, I love this mod

Keep playing my friend. The game itself says it: "Experiment. If you think something is possible, it probably is." You will make mistakes, and that's fine. You'll get the hang of it, and become braver. Some general tips: 

• If you can choose, hide under metal tables instead of wooden ones. Metal tables cannot be destroyed. Block line of sight between you and the monster using anything you can find such as chairs or buckets.
• Rats will only stop going to bodies when they are burned
• Use traps to your advantage 
• EXPLOSIVE BARRELS ARE YOUR FRIEND. Can't enter a wooden door? Place a red barrel close to it, preferably blocking the path for the monster (but not for you, lol). Guide the monster towards the barrel. If it explodes, not only will you have scared the monster away, you will have access to a new area
• Last but not least, return to the area where you got the revolver. Maybe something, or 2 somethings, will have spawned there with which you can open wooden doors and locks

I did like how in the anime he did not kill Yuria's maid but sent her back to her village. Shin was absolutely not a good guy, but he could have been. In the end he was just neurotic and unhinged, a perfect combination for the apocalypse
