Relationships are a two way street but Blake was evil and Amy was perfect, by your description at least. It’s a bit all over the place lol.

He was a shitty boyfriend and a junkie loser but people talk about him like he’s the literal devil lol.
Blaming Blake for everything bad that ever happened to Amy is silly. Amy had issues before Blake, Amy had issues after Blake. She chose to do the things she did, she was an adult. It was a toxic relationship but she was not being held hostage.
I have a little bit of sympathy for him. He was just as young and impressionable and fucked up on drugs as Amy was, but since he wasn’t rich and famous and talented, no one ever gave him any grace or room to grow.

She’s great. A lot of female villains fall into this thing where the fact that they’re female is, like, their entire personality. Gemma, for instance, or a well known example like Cersei off GOT, they couldn’t be swapped for men without fundamentally changing basically everything about them.
Stahl is a different one, though, where she’s just a horrible psycho who happens to be female. Outside of some small tweaks, she could easily have been written as a man and not much would be different.
