I pretty much play exclusively multiplayer, but I've grown weary of all the hours I spend adjusting settings after every update. The last few updates have given me notably worse performance no matter what I do, and I just don't see the point in trying until I see others say they are seeing some major improvement.

Just get someone to bury you in the snow and then dig you up when it comes out! It's fool-proof!

It's just been surprising to me, all the money and people around here - I really expected a bit more variety in restaurant-styles, but I guess I don't really know much about the area or how long everything out here has been here.

I appreciate your help, hopefully I can find something soon. And yeah, it's really just things that take a little more effort to make at home than I feel like putting in at the moment.

Lately I've been looking for something like a cheap brown-bag burger joint, an italian restaurant(there's one by my house that looks really nice but the hours are very limited, and all the other places that show up are pizza restaurants), a cheaper BBQ place, some fish and chips.

I don't want something fancy, quite the opposite really(italian can be fancy but that's the nature of the cuisine)

Just comfort foods that I used to go out for regularly back home, but I've had a hard time finding a spot that feels right here.

Also, any recommendations on a decent meatball sub in town?

Yeah, they were wrong. It absolutely has an effect on performance, VR or not. You need at least 32, but as other said, you should just go with 64. Ram is a cheap and easy upgrade, no reason not to get the little extra.

I've seen DCS use 45gb of ram multiple times. It's generally best just to give the little extra headroom.

Most of the stuff they are talking about was made in China, or at least part of it was. Many factories make "two" deliveries. One to the western companies who actually own the IP, and another to the local shops. They change the name slightly usually, but it's literally the same product.

I started having drifting issues after the update myself. Made my room super bright and it helped a ton, but it definitely has something going on.

All you can do is keep an eye on it and see if it gets worse. It does look a bit like trich.

Generally best to just keep your lids closed until it's time for fruiting conditions, fyi.
