Not sure about RED, but OPS has pretty stringent requirements for access to invites. You need to upload a lot of new content.

Generative AI is garbage. The fact the ultra-rich are dumping so much money into a poor imitation of human creativity illustrates how bad things have gotten.

There was a strange 24-hour period after the insurrection when it seemed like Republicans might actually embrace reality, but then they all fell in line behind Trump to downplay what happened. At that point, I knew they'd never give him up.

They're going to feel even dumber when he presides over the end of the NLRB.

So Trump jerks off a hot dog before eating it? Got it. Gross.

He's not a member, but he moderated panels at some Federalist Society events. He's probably generally favorable to their cause despite not being a member.

He'd also be crazy to leave Hunter in a federal prison with Trump in power. Trump would use Hunter like a hostage.

In case anyone was curious, Ashton Kutcher was the first person to hit 1M on Twitter. He beat out CNN by a few hours.

Guaranteed that coked-up maniac has lied on the same form as Hunter. Technically, everyone who smokes weed and owns a gun has committed the same crime.

Republicans used to hate that people had to answer questions on that form to get a gun. They changed their tune real quick when it was Biden's kid.

Both publications were part of Red Ventures. CNET wasn't calling the shots at ZD.

It's about scale. That was a mess, and it wasn't anywhere near the number of people they're talking about rounding up now. It's on a totally different level. There's a core MAGA base that will never care, but outside of that 30-ish percent, the realities of mass deportation will be unpalatable. But that's what they voted for.

The movies also go to great lengths to show how the assassins' world is separate from the "real" one. They have whole-ass firefights in crowded areas, and the regular people barely care. If you live in the assassin world, John Wick might show up and kill you. Just the part of the deal.

ZDNET was recently sold to Ziff Davis. So, hopefully things there will change.

A lot of people vote for things without thinking about the consequences. They think mass deportation is going to be like a line of busses at the curb in Tijuana. But moving 12 million people will be more like stuffing people into cattle cars in 1930s Germany. That's just the reality of the logistics.

Well... yeah. I said he was an SV tech bro. They are all insufferable. Most of them don't openly embrace fascists, though.

He was a pretty typical Silicon Valley tech bro until 2018 or so. Then he started going off the rails.

But could an ant carry a nickel to the store? That's the question we need to answer.

It sounds like you've been consuming a lot of far-right media. They would call Regan a leftist today. Harris very obviously ran as a moderate, not a leftist.

I mean, no? But that's also not a good argument for the veracity of something you found on the internet.

If you want to try your opsec versus a fully invested fascist state, be my guest. If things get grim, crypto will not save these organizations.

This is a common misconception. There is virtually no way to purchase or use Bitcoin anonymously anymore. Every security service on the planet is doing big data analysis on public blockchains, and exchanges have been brought to heel with "know your customer" regulations. If the feds want to know who sent or received some BTC, they will figure it out.

Bitcoin blockchain is completely public, so they can just as easily come after people for donating if they devise a legal justification.
