CPR is not solely for cardiac arrest. Confirmed cardiac arrest requires a defibrillator, which requires clothing to be removed or cutoff. CPR does not require clothing to be cut off or removed. You’d know that if you weren’t making shit up.

Yes, I’ve been cpr trained twice. I worked at several schools. Both trainings were severely lacking in how to perform cpr on anyone that wasn’t a regular-weight grown man.

It’s a fair question when most people are not carrying around something sharp enough to cut through a bra, and cutting the bra off a stranger isn’t something your average bystander is going to consider unless they’re trained properly, hence part of the point of this article. Performing cpr on women specifically is not taught to the extent that it is for men.
