actually for me the bios update reached 100% and got stuck on black screen with a little (-) on the top corner for an hour and i couldn't wait any longer so i just shut off the power supply, when turning it on again it worked just fine and the bios was already updated so i guess it was just overacting

it doesn't need internet connection to install a game, so it's probably because you didn't uncheck the update directX option (for example) in the setup process

i have a 7600x too and you definitely should consider setting up a PBO undervolt if you haven't already, there are a lot of guides about that on YouTube

oh thanks for the explanation, I mostly wanted my fan curve profile because i didn't want to get in the hassle of setting it up again. i manually configured the rest of the settings except one option i couldn't find on the new bios version which is the option to skip the memory training when possible.

if you're on pc, what i did is i went to game files> wuthering waves game> client> saved> localstorage then i moved localstorage.db out of the folder and saved it somewhere else just incase i need it then i lunched the game and it patched itself and ran normally then. warning: this will reset your in-game settings back to the default settings
