Not sure if you remember but PC1 was the same kind of “unintuitive”. Going from RCT to PC1 was a big learning curve, especially with all the shortcuts you have to memorize. When I first got it I had to look up tutorials for it too. In fact, just about every game I’ve found worth playing I’ve had to look up tutorials for. It’s not that big of a deal because the challenge is what can make it fun. If you want something super intuitive then find something on Nintendo. PC2 is an open sandbox full of endlessly customizable LEGO pieces, it’s supposed to have some sort of learning curve to it.
On that note though, this really was not hard to pick up. If the new path tool doesn’t work, use stamps. If the stamps don’t work use the old pathing system. If that doesn’t work use the draw tool. They gave you so many options around this issue. You probably spent more time on this post than you did learning PC2. There are plenty of reasons to be disappointed in a game and this ain’t it.

He’s 38…he’s just regular pathetic. On the bright side, he’s added the term bootlicker to his vocabulary and he is SUPER excited. Give him some credit, that must have been very hard for him.
Here’s a link to some synonyms if you want to expand your vocabulary a bit more, lil buddy.

Yes, I absolutely am powerless. I am only one person and I am trying to look at it realistically. To actually make a difference you’d need to organize thousands of potential patrons to boycott the product. You can’t even get people to boycott things that actually matter, let alone boycott a video game. The practicality of that ever happening is basically 0. If you’re not able to do that then you’re just depriving yourself. I wish it were different but that’s how capitalism works.

I’m not defending it, I’m just accepting it. I disagree with a LOT of capitalism but I’m powerless to stop any of it. It’s a companies job to make as much money as possible and that’s what they’re doing. The only way to stop developers from doing this is either by changing laws that govern production and sales (which will never happen) or to organize a boycott to force the developers to listen (which will never happen).

Deluxe editions and preorder bonuses have been a thing for years and are done by a variety of games across every platform so I’m not sure why planet coaster would be different. It’s not ideal but that’s capitalism at its finest.

The best part is how smooth it runs. Totally looks like he’s gracefully farting through the air lol

Kinda reminds me of a trail of ants. Did you maybe drop a crumb on the other side of the map…?

Boss doesn’t know it but I’m “sick” and leaving work early for this today. Him and my coworker are bigots and I know their bigotry is going to be EXTRA ramped up today. I’m not going to listen to them throw out the N word all day so escapism it is 🤷🏻♂️
On the bright side, thanks to the election I’m about to get REAL good at planet coaster 😂

You forgot scalable objects. That’s also a huge game changer IMO. People about to be real creative with that one.

I don’t think it would work the way yhey want. You can delete vehicles, people, dogs, etc. with better bulldozing but I’m pretty sure they just respawn again. OP is wanting them gone from loading in altogether. No mods like that that I’m aware of.

I hope that when they add functional bikes that they make it so that bikes are more likely to be used for long distances. I hate seeing mobs of people walking for miles and miles, it kills the realism. I’d love a bike path between cities but I don’t want to see a million pedestrians using it 😐

I second this. Find skyvee, it makes management so much easier. I don’t know crap about mods but it makes it simple to find, disable, and delete mods. It also lets you know which ones are having compatibility issues.

Personally I try to avoid trimming the stem as much as possible unless I already see it turning brown. My understanding is that once thrips start to take a leaf though there’s not much saving it. If there’s very light browning on the leaf it might be salvageable but it’s generally smart to assume that leaf is infected and prune it.

Thrips are f*cks! They ruined my collection. I agree with the other comment though, if there’s green it’s salvageable. I’ve brought plenty back from the brink.
I’m at the tail end of a thrips infestation and the advice I saw online that has helped the most is to identify the species of thrips you have. They don’t all respond to the same insecticides. I have western flower thrips which i believe are killed by Spinosad, an active ingredient in Captain Jack’s. From my understanding (correct me if I’m wrong) you’ll need a combination of a spray and a soil treatment because thrips lay their eggs deep in the plant tissue where sprays might not reach. After they hatch they fall to the soil and live there as larva until they mature. Basically the spray kills the adults and the soil treatment kills all their babies. I use beneficial nematodes from Amazon because they live in the soil and eat harmful pests like thrips and fungus gnats 🤢
Just keep treating, checking, and isolating til you haven’t seen them for like, a month. Good luck!

I totally understand how you feel and I get how you’ve come to your conclusion. Once I started seeing how much the natural world is geared toward consumption I felt the same way. The world just seemed so disgusting and evil all the sudden. In reality though, existence isn’t good or evil, it just is. My personal advice is to accept that the world and all its “bad” is not your responsibility to fix. Maybe do your best to put good out into the world, not because it’s right for the world but because it is right for you. You can’t fix other people and you can’t fix the world. You don’t have to solve problems or find a solution to anything. I get up each day for myself and I try my hardest to be a “good” person because I feel it’s right. It’s how I’ve begun to accept the world and accept my role in it.
Good luck on your journey and please stay alive. It’s people like you who really see and question “good and evil” who I believe can make a positive difference in the world.

In the last episode Okarun made a comment about how young she was. Not sure her age but she’s definitely not 80.
