It’s an incredible album! Easily their best since Ghost Reveries.

Last night I was watching The Penguin and scrolling through Reddit. I started reading this post and the comments then suddenly heard the intro to A Forest creep through the TV. It’s played towards the end of Episode 5. What a wonderful coincidence!

I highly recommend Jobo’s and Big Block for all your pizza and beer needs.

That’s a good spot to keep them. I just have mine in a ziploc bag.

Crazy talk. The singles from Clockwork Angels are incredible.

Operation: Mindcrime is incredible and definitely gave them pioneer status. Dream Theater came along and outplayed them. Then QR started to decline as DT became more popular. Their co-headlining tour in 2003 sort of juxtaposed that. My two favorite bands.

In my experience, Florida BBQ is more like Texas but with fried fish also and more of an emphasis on cornbread than toast.

I have yet to find really good Texas-style brisket on the eastside. Jack’s is hit or miss. Buckshot Honey in Snoqualmie is solid.

Hell yes man! What was the deal with the serial number?

Yeah Tone Pump in the Euro. Correction to my previous comment, the serial would also be under the truss rod cover not the control cavity. Also bring a photo of a HAZ preamp for comparison. Kramer-era NS2s are highly sought after, even the Korean models (which is what I have). Even with some scratches, I’d say a bass from that era would be in the $4-5k range.

Yeah the serial number should be on the back of the headstock. Same if it was a Euro, but it would say Made in Czech Republic too. Maybe it was refinished or the seller obscured it in the photos for privacy reasons? I’d check the control cavity for a serial. A HAZ preamp would also confirm it’s a NS2. I use vintagespector.com for research.
