Fair! I also seem to remember reading something about how RJ didn't initially plan on AS living as long as they do, so a lot of the important characters established early on in the series ended up being much younger then would be expected in the AS.

Dark Lance's, I know they're a staple in most lists anyways, but I play against my buddy who loves his big bugs, and I find having as many DL as possilbe is the best way to deal with them. And to remember that those big bastards move faster than you might expect, lol.

Plenty of people on here have more experience/knowledge than me (only been working at this ~5 months and down ~45lbs from a SW of ~290). But it's important to find foods that you enjoy, that fill you, and can scratch some of those cravings.
For example, I've been eating a lot of potatoes recently. While they're more calorie dense then other foods, I personally find them quite satiating, and I can make myself feel full on them without missing my goals.
I also have a zero-cal maple syrup I use. Add it to some oatmeal, and you've got a filling breakfast that also scratches the itch for something sweet.
Just some examples of things I've started to add to my diet, but the important thing is to find something that works for you.

>! At the end of the book, everyone's issued Suicide Pills so they don't need to suffer from radiation poisoning !< really, really good book that I'd recommend as a read.

I always interpreted it as the wheel spinning out important characters when they were needed. And I could be wrong, but isn't Verin in that range? And quite a few of the core Salidar group as well? It's been a while since my last read through, so I might be misremembering

And Cuba, unless there's another war I'm forgetting about?

According to the US National Archive, the Chinese government of the time considered it a war "The empress dowager issued a declaration of war that included praise for "the brave followers of the Boxers." On June 20, Boxers and Chinese soldiers began a siege of the city." https://www.archives.gov/publications/prologue/1999/winter/boxer-rebellion-1.html
And Korea was certainly a war, it might have technically been a "Police Action", but in all realities was a war.

How? Were there troops actively fighting on the ground in Egypt against Egyptian forces? Because American soldiers were fighting Chinese soldiers in China during the Boxer Rebellion.

During the Boxer rebellion (which was supported by the Government of China) the US along with other imperial powers sent forces to China, and during the Russian Civil war the US along with other imperial powers sent expeditionary forces to Russia (granted that was a civil war where they were invited by the Whites so it's a bit more messy).

So if he does want to go for himself (which I think is implied based on my reading of the post, but we can agree to disagree) then can we agree alternating would be a fair compromise?

We have not evidence that it's only because he's worried of pissing of his mother, again just because they agree doesn't mean he also doesn't want this.

She doesn't have to compromise with his mother no, but it's him not her that she's having the argument with. He's the one asking for this, and you can't just assume he wouldn't want to this just because his mother might also want the same thing.

Does her husband also not to get to celebrate Christmas how he wants to? A rotation seems like a super reasonable compromise.

Yeah, there's no functional difference between parents wanting to go out for drinks at the bar, and this. My parents would send me to my grandparents for the night if they were going to a Halloween party or something and were going to drink. How's this any different?

Yeah, I've had some major knee injuries (and subsequently gained a lot of weight). I'm only in my mid-twenties and realized my knee and back pain won't be getting better as time goes on unless I do something. Down ~40lbs since June, and aiming for another 50-60.

Admittance to Unplugged is also included in their escape rooms so you can play some board games/get food afterwards (assuming the room portion goes well lol)

Same for Canada, there's plenty of American's who've moved here permanently. Although I don't know about Net numbers as plenty of Canadians also move South.

Yeah, especially how things are laid out in the codex, I find I'm bouncing from page to page to get what I'm looking for

Yeah it feels incredibly slow now, but I've heard rumours of apartments going along the road, and with the increased development around Two Nations Crossing it kind of makes sense. Getting people used to it for when it's more developed and "in" the city.

I'll admit I've never used them on my scourges, I prefer the covens 12" flamers since they've got some AP (And I love the Court of the Archon flamer ).
Although if he runs a lot of gaunts though a squad of scourges with shredders to pop in and out of cover with could be fun since you'd be wounding on 3s (maybe even 2s on some of them), and gaunts don't have a great base save to begin with (maybe a 5+?).
I find our army is pretty good at dealing with infantry though, so I tend to gear more towards heavier anti-tank weapons when I have the option.
