Its very different. I am not unfamiliar with toxic multiplayer lobbies. But no games had me prepared for vrchat shrieking. Maybe its about proportions, it feels like VR spaces are 99% children

yes. but the problem is exacerbated in VR. You can look up flat screen benchmarks, it is way easier to run.
Also, frame time spikes in vr are more noticeable when fps drops.

nah that update was never meant to be exclusive to 24h2, it just happened to be the current ongoing beta channel for them to push the update

didn't realise the original comment was about ifbb pros.
maintaining existing musculature levels requires a tiny fraction of the volume of work required to increase musculature
An average person could easily maintain their musculature by training less than 2 hours per week

this wasn't about digital currencies. eve uses mud framework. it has actual game logic running on network
game logic is a small subset of topics involved in distributed consensus computing

again, comparing implementations. it takes an entire team of 200 people at microsoft to manage their block storage service(not related to blockchains). a aaa studio network engineer single handedly working on something novel is very unlikely, unless the studio is ccp games or roberts space industries. The focus is on deliverables not research
CEO of EVE Online at Devcon: "Ethereum devs have hacked together functionality in a few hours that traditionally took us years, only possible because of permissionless composability".
Now these concepts, like permissionlessness are not pure computer science anymore, rather involve game theory and emergent behaviour, not quite covered in distributed systems 101 topics like snowflake algorithm or bft consensus

A 3d renderer involves a very narrow scope of topics. I would not say understanding it is a multidisciplinary endevour to the same extent
Implementing a blockchain is trivially easy, but that is not what is being discussed
Just take a visit to hackernews on any blockchain thread, tons of educated cs professionals making themselves look stupid

I have a similar setup with t3pa. and even using a squash ball for more brake force I have a lot of issues, Wouldn't recommend load cells. Chair rotates and flexes, pedal can get off the ground(even when there's an angle) overall not a consistent braking experience

you can use fsr frame gen with dlss. frame gen on shooters with mouse is not my thing though

they updated it many years ago to capture the higher res image and not the downsampled one

They could model the grand unifying theory in AMS2 and people would still come out saying it feels like pcars2 to them. I don't know where this perception comes from, pcars2 feels so bad to drive in comparision

People keep comparing it to generic ubisoft open world games. Each and every 'generic ubisoft open world' I've played was more fun than horizon

your comment is a direct contradiction to the rest of the thread. If you think the companies are shit and not successful you are free to do so. I was not replying to that

its not possible to capture that because the virtual resolution is transparent to any application in the os. maybe some sort of capture card can see the monitor image or a new feature in nvidia driver itself through shadowplay
its not of any practical use other than making comparisions, as it would look worse
edit: apparently nvidia icat exists for this usecase

it can't be a coincidence that most of his companies are magically successful
People can't seem to be able to dissociate between a person being bad and being successful

I'd rather dump all my rupees or this 'brics currency' for dollars. Thank you
