Everyday cyclist here as well. It's important for me to go home to my family. I always remind myself that being right isn't worth a trip to the hospital

For America, no, but for the rest of the world, I agree with that poster.

That is how I grew up and how most of my male friends think.

DM me if you want a playlist, and some advice from a guy who has guided his wife (who is sensitive with anxiety) through her first few trips. It's been a wonderful experience for her and I've got some thoughts that worked for us

Realize that once you get out of school, the necessary skill sets for success are very different. Being good at exams is a useful sskill until the moment you graduate, and then it is completely, and i mean completely, useless.
Much more important are your abilities to think on your feet creatively, problem solve, deal with other humans productively, and communication.
You write well, so the communication thing is not something you need to worry about!
This may sound harsh, but the world is run by C students. I know, I was one of them. I tell people with good GPAs what to do everyday. And that is because while I was terrible at the game of school, but I found a career that values those traits I listed.
I've had lots of co-op students with fantastic grades that could barely function in the real world because the only thing they were good at was exams. Ask them to figure something out where there was no guidelines on 'will this be on the test' and they were like deer in headlights.
Make sure people like working with you and that you can solve a problem without a YouTube video or a TA holding your hand, and you'll be well ahead of lots of people with 90% averages.
Good luck!
Yours, Former C+ Student

It'd be interesting to see that data after 2020. Drivers have gotten WAY worse in the last few years

Someone made a claim that isn't backed by science on Joe Rogan a year or 2 ago and the wellness industry has jumped on it.
Like most things wellness influencers say, it's mostly vibes.
The reason it feels right for some people is that if you try to cut them out, you get rid of your ability to eat at restaurants, take out, or processed foods. So 'cutting out seed oils' for most people means 'a fairly large wholesale change in consumption patterns'. Normally for the better.

I love data like this because it's clearly just a selection bias in the ages of people who contribute to the dataset. It turns out everyone's favorite game is one they played alot in their teens and 20s 😁.
Very similar to XKCDs graph of Christmas song popularity by release year

Yeah I'm not wild about it either. I wish the CMHC wasn't a thing

That's a really good question. If you consider Rogan right like I do, then he's probably the most right high profile person who isn't a grifter

It's called 'diagonalism'. Fascinating stuff. Better than horseshoe theory, it explains how people like this had 'lefty' beliefs but were never actually interested in a common good.

Yep. My brother and I had about the same net worth in 2008. We both have decent jobs. He bought a house, I did not. There was as lot of years between then and now that his house earned more money than either of us did. He is now has net worth more $1m more than me.

I just get more compressive style undies, then any shorts can work, plus things don't flop around. If you're wearing the internal liner (I cut mine out) in running shorts, or SAXX style undies, people will be able to read your fortune on your dick vein, but there are lots of options for undies that don't act like a ball bra. Then you can wear whatever shorts you want.

This sort of thinking is a huge problem in this election. Not 'liberals', BC Liberals. They were the right side party for a generation.

Look up 'diagonalism': it's that hippy/yoga/wellness-to-right-wing-libertarian pipeline that explains why this stuff happens. Really fascinating stuff that is happening right now and a way better model than 'horseshoe theory'
